Bought open boxed and so far we love it. This is the first time we’ve had wifi and a front load set. So nice to to know when the wash is about to be done.

After having this for less than a month I hate it. I wish I had done more research on front-load washers (this is my first) since apparently GE has a reputation for having terrible spin-cycle engineering in their machines, all the way back to 2012! No matter how long the spin-cycle runs, or for how many HOURS, or how many times I rebalance it, clothes are still SOAKING WET at the end, like you can wring cups of water out of the laundry when it's done. I do all the laundry for our house and it's making me miserable. I didn't realize the return/exchange window was so short, only 15 days, so I'll have to figure out what to do now. Thanks for wasting hours of my life GE!
Hello there, we're so sorry to hear that your clothes have been coming out of your washer so wet. We can absolutely see how annoying this would be for you and we're happy to help. If the clothes seem too wet after the wash cycle is complete, the following are possible causes: 1) A "slow spin" may have been selected. A slow spin will eliminate less water than a fast spin. 2) Cold water can make clothes feel more wet. If this is not the case, service may be required. 3) Oversudsing from too much detergent may slow down the final spin cycle, causing a suds lock. If the problem persists, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). We hope this information is useful to you and we're wishing you the best. - Guy@GEA

Washed, noisy and loud. My old Samsung large stackable was quiet as a mouse. Not these. My water lines knock when calling for water. Stay away from this set. I would call for service but I know they can’t fix it. Not because it can’t be fix, lack of knowledge
If you hear a banging or rattling noise from the inlet pipes as the washer stops filling, this is likely due to water hammer. Water hammer is a problem with the household plumbing and its water pressure. As the washer's water valve closes, the force of water in the pipes can cause the pipes to rattle. We recommend consulting a professional plumber to find the root cause of water hammer sounds and a proper solution. Lauren@GEAppliances

Efficient and results spanking clean! So many choices! Only reason for 4 stars, it is a bit noisy.
Hello - thanks for this review! We so glad to hear that you're happy with the large capacity of this beautiful high-efficiency washer. Though, we certainly are sorry that the drain hose length is too short for your setup. This would be discouraging and we can understand your concern. Thankfully, we offer an optional drain hose extension (recommended for discharging heights from 60” - 96”) and its part number is WH49X316. Specific installation information related to the drain hose can be found on page 22 of the installation instructions: https://files.bbystatic.com/3%2FvTY6tIA8U6BkU58%2Bc4iA%3D%3D/e32b48d4-49f8-4dd2-a9a4-6fcad4429282.pdf. We hope this is insightful! Connect with us if you have any questions - we're happy to help out. Best, Kelsey@GEA

JUNK

This is the most expensive, worst working washer I have ever owned. What a piece of JUNK! Do not waste your money on this! It won't get your clothes clean. I've had 2 repairmen out her and the only solution was "just wash half loads". What?! I bought the huge washer so I could wash large loads! Apparently EPA regulations won't allow enough water in the tub for the clothes to wash. JUNK, JUNK, JUNK.

Read the fine print does not come with electronic power cord that you really need if you want to use it. Can reverse the door
Was easy to order and pick it up
