The burners are easy to use and flame range is good and easy to adjust. I’ve only used the broiler once to cook up some bacon quickly on low broil and it seemed to work just fine. The griddle is just okay. Good for pancakes but not for frying eggs. Overall I am pleased with this GE stove.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a range just 6 yrs. old that cost twice as much but had several problems after warranty expired. New oven heats much quicker and maintains a more consistent temperature. Stove top has quality gratings and center grill and nice look. The broiler is below, not inside, the oven, hence it is a bit low. Nonetheless we are pleased with this range.

I do not use metal kitchen utensils, but the black soft plastic and the surface is showing wear! I'm going to contact GE to see if the will replace the griddle. Until I get a response from them I'm not going to recommend this item. So far the oven and burners operate well but disappointed in the griddle

Neat, easy to clean, good temperature control performance, etc. But whatever possessed GE to ship these ranges without a functional broiler? It has a special compartment for the broiler under the oven, but ships with no way to put food under the broiler flame or take it out again. And the separate parts GE sells individually as broiler pans are very poorly designed for the dimensions of this range, too big to fit or too small to handle safely under the flame. In an otherwise fine purchase, this is a big disappointment. I wish I had known before I chose this unit to buy.
