I did go on line but that didn’t really explain it all. I really like the different burner size and the 3 oven racks

Others mentioned being hard to clean but this is not my experience. I can sometimes be a messy cook and water gravy oil etc. sometimes get spilled or splattered in small amounts and burns on the Stove top before I’m finished cooking. If it doesn’t come off with sponge once cooled I use a razor at a 45* angle to scrape burnt on build up. Razor does NOT scratch surface! Then I wash with soap and water and shine with windex and paper towel.

While this doesn’t have all the features the Kenmore had, so far it has been working just fine. The oven temp seems to be well calibrated and so far have had no issues baking. My biggest complaint is that the ‘alarm/timer’ sound is way too quiet - can’t really hear it when you are not in the room!!! Plus it’s this little ‘polite’ tinkle sound, rather than a good buzzer you can hear over regular household noise! Oh and my hubby is probably right in that a handle on the bottom drawer would prevent finger prints all over the front of the drawer(we got stainless). Otherwise it seems to be a suitable replacement for our previous range.

I don't want to go online every time I need to look something up. At minimum, GE should offer them for purchase for a nominal fee. I have never owned a convection oven nor a ceramic stovetop and would have appreciated an instruction manual at my fingertips when using for the first time. The unit itself is aesthetically pleasing.
