After getting one that works properly this dryer awesome

Happy with product. Would recommend this product to friends and family. We have always been satisfied with ever GE appliance we have purchased in the past and will continue to buy them in the future.

Our old dryer gave out on us, and after searching for a couple of days, we decided on this GE gas dryer. So far it's working out really well. Love the steam feature, especially the steam refresh. It really works as advertised.

Easy to use washer and dryers. Great settings for easy understanding.

Big and very easy To use settings. Filter is really delicate. You must clean it out pretty well after each use.

As a graduate level professional in design and engineering I was very disappointed with this product. Overall quality of production is a bit rough on the edges... Literally. But the worst came when we had to swap the door direction to accommodate situation when washer and dryer are stacked. It took a good 1.5 hours to complete. Had to gut open the entire door while seeing unnecessary number of screws and washers and the lack of simple plastic pins to cover holes. The experience us so poorly thought through that it feels like it was done on purpose. Will never buy GE appliances again. Made in China anyway. Sorry.

The GE dryer is good product, excellent deliver & service

This dryer ends the cycle with clothes that don’t need ironing! My favorite thing! Easy operation and multiple settings for heavier items.

Very good dryer, will stop when it detects items are dried

Purchased in April 2020, we have just surpassed the one year warranty and the dryer is breaking down. There is a metal-on-metal rubbing sounds as the drum spins. Very concerned about the cost of repair and the longevity of the dryer if there are already repairs needed after just 13 months.

Made scratchy sounds from day one. Extremely loud unit.

I had to exchange this dryer within 3 days because it started making a horrible sound. Now 6 months with the new exchanged one, we are back at the horrible sound.

Does not dry well as expected. Takes a long time to dry or ever get dry.

As other reviewers have pointed out, yep, the 2 month old dryer started making that metal grinding sound! I had a cheap Whirpool for 20 years and all I had to do was replace the belt from time to time. This thing, 2 months, light use, already have to have it repaired. And there is a 4 day wait for a technician so that alone tells you how bad GE appliances are.
