It’s very loud (literally wakes up our cat and makes her nervous), even the highest dry boost level doesn’t get everything completely dry (the inside of the washer door and walls are pretty much always wet), it doesn’t seem to have room for as much as it should, bowls and platters dont stand up properly in most places, only the bottom rack has adjustable tines (despite the description saying the upper rack does as well), and all of the racks drag out like they don’t even have wheels rather than pulling out smoothly. Can’t complain so far about how well it cleans, but we rinse everything thoroughly before putting it in; so, it’s all almost clean already anyway. At least we could turn off all of the especially loud beeping of the buttons and end of cycle notification. Bottom line is that we should have spent more for better quality, but we were suckered in by the inexplicable great reviews.

Some sounds are normal while others may be abnormal. We would like for you to review the support article on the GE Appliances website titled: "Dishwasher - Normal / Abnormal Noises".
For help with the drying performance, please follow the suggestions in the section titled: "Dishes don’t dry" on pg. 23 of the Owner's Manual.

Poor Dishwasher

I'm sorry, but I have wonderful GE appliances in my kitchen, but this is just not that. I have washed more dishes by hand with this model, it does not clean very well at all. If you only put a couple of items in at a time you might get lucky, but a fuller dishwasher, be ready to rewash many items. I have tried every setting, longer washing time etc. and still dirty dishes. So, I would not recommend this at all. Wish I had a chance to take it back.
We'd like to offer assistance with your unit's cleaning performance. We recommend checking to ensure that your inlet water temperature is reaching at least 120°F for optimal washing and drying. This will also help with removing food residue and fully dissolving the detergent. You will also want to check the water pressure, very low water pressure keeps the dishwasher from filling or filling enough. The water pressure needs to be between 20 to 120 PSI. For even better cleaning performance, we recommend using a high quality detergent such as Cascade® Platinum™ ActionPacs™ or Finish® Quantum® Automatic Dishwashing Detergent. For additional troubleshooting, you can view our article titled "Dishwasher - Not Washing Properly" located on our GE Appliances website.

Installed 1 week after picking it up. After 1st run, machine just leaks water out of the bottom of front door. Best Buy won’t take returns after 14 days, I was on day 15. In nightmare process of GE warranty repair service. Will never buy from
Best Buy again. Offering zero help. Stuck with a manufacturing screw up and no end in sight.

I had a terrible experience with Best Buy. The contractor they assigned broke my water knob during installation and then demanded $180 to fix it. When I contacted Best Buy to request a refund—since their contractor caused the damage—they never followed up. The contractor even threatened to leave the job unfinished unless I paid. It felt like a scam, and Best Buy has done nothing to address it.

All accessories were missing. Would not recommend buying from open box item

It is ok! The bottom rack does not fit some larger dinner plates. The top rack is hard to open.
