If your heavy loads are coming out too wet, we recommend making sure you're not overloading the washer. The proper load size for this unit can be found on page 13 of the use and care manual listed in the "From the Manufacturer" section on the product page. Additionally, make sure you've selected a spin cycle for your heavy loads as well as ensuring each load is properly balanced in the washer tub. The bottom of page 24 of the same use and care manual has a QR code/link that will take you to a video that shows you proper operation of this unit. This was a great washing machine until it wasn’t. It literally split into pieces after only a year and a half of having it brand new. Pretty sure it’s 6 months past it’s one year warranty too so maybe don’t buy this.

Does not come with all parts needed. Needed to buy hoses, washers, and screens for just the washer. Don’t get me started on the dryer. Bought as a set. Spent over $1200 and I had to spend an extra $200+ to actually be able to use it. Best Buy has a horrible purchase process for appliances.

Watch your chest when you lean in otherwise it will go in the bleach hole & ruin your favorite shirt…just ask me! It shuts off with the slightest weight so no bluky blankets despite the Bulky cycle. Fabric softener remains in the tray & the tray does not come out for cleaning. We purchased this in July 2024 & 3 months later we are already looking forward to wasting our money on this to go back to a front load. Only thing good about this is the app that alerts when the clothes are done. This set was on sale when we bought it & I understand why. Cheaper is not better!

GE makes exploding washer machines

It worked well for 2 years and 5 months. Then during a light load, I hear a loud BOOM. The washer burst apart. Screws, water, and pieces were everywhere. The washer looks like it got into a fight with the Incredible Hulk. This is my second GE washer machine in 6 years. I'm looking for a different brand. My GE dryer is still going strong after 6 years.

The washer had a huge dent in the front, and in the tub. It had Black mold and water residue. It came brand new in a box like that. That was secured, and you would think that it was actually brand new, but it was horrible.

I have a real problem with the color not matching. I’m being told that it’s nothing Bestbuy can do. The set match in the store. And the dryer has a different model number in store versus what they delivered.
Geek squad hung up on me when I told them I want to return the set. And you know the first thing they do is verify your name and phone so we can call back if we get disconnected. No Call Back it’s an hour later
