Review of GE Profile washer dryer combo.

This worked well in my small space and where the machine is located. Great not having to worry when the washing is done to putin the dryer. Love wrinkle care festure.

I sleep during the day so by use my cellphone i can tell it to dry my clothes...if only it would fold my clothes!

Don’t be freaked out if the clothes feel a tad damp when you take them out, it’s just the steam and they are all dry including jeans and bath towels.

Sometimes hand washing your clothes is better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We thought the convenience of having a washer/dryer combo would be amazing, but it's been rough. We've had the washer for over 6 months, and while it's a space saver it's had issues. When you do a load of laundry it's best to run the wash and dry cycle separately. Don't do allow the combo to do an automatic dry after the wash is done. It will have a higher chance of having a damp odor to it. I think the problem is the ventless system, and the steam drying feature. I've done multiple cleanings, gone in with a brush, drained it, nothing solves the issue. Also the maintenance on this is a nightmare. The ventless system requires cleaning out the inside of the lint trap, and it's so difficult to get in there. I have a shop vac which has helped.

All new stuff in utility area - new walls, new insulation, new electrical, new plumbing, new water heater. Can you explain why it makes this noise.

Posted .If you hear a banging or otherwise repetitive rattling sound when the washer stops filling, this is likely due to a water hammer. Water hammer is an issue that can occur and is associated with your household plumbing and the water pressure in your home. As the washer's water valve closes, the force of water in the pipes can cause the pipes to rattle. We recommend consulting a professional plumber to find the root cause of the water hammer sounds and a proper solution. -Vikki@GEAppliances

Wrinkled shirts!

Posted .If you have not done so already, we recommend connecting your Combo to your WiFi and our SmartHQ app. There may be performance updates available that could remedy the issue you're having with wrinkling. We also recommend following the "fabric care" label on your shirts to ensure you are using the proper wash and dry settings to get the best results. You may consider reducing the spin speed for this type of load as this could prevent wrinkles from setting on your "no wrinkle" shirts.
