Re places an on the counter one ...has freed up counter and is better looking and bigger ...oh ya wife loves iT ! Lucky to get item on closeout, price was fantastic. GE did a nice job in the appearance of the microwave. Nice inside, large enough for cooking. Easy to clean, nice lighting inside and out. Fairly quite for the size that it is. Recommend anyone to replace the old models for this new one. Highly recommend to all buyers. Very happy customer.

This model was reasonably priced and looked good next to my other GE stainless steel appliances. We installed it ourselves, which wasn't too hard, but definitely took some time. It's definitely a step-up from my last one, but anything would be over a 20+ year old microwave :-) One thing that may have been a dealbreaker for me if I had known prior to buying it- it has a VERY loud fan that runs continuously when cooking. I cannot carry on a conversation in the kitchen when it is running.

Easy to install and pretty good value in terms of features and price. Was very noisy - ended up returning it bc of the excessive noise.

good, compact microwave that has all the basic features, timing, power levels, presets. Nice price at Best Buy, easily installed. No problems to date.

I like the microwave above the range, it frees up my counter space. I choose GE because it is a trusted name. The price was within my range and it was on sale which saved me some money. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. It does make a little more noise than my old microwave that was on the counter but it is mounted above the range so that may account for the more noise.

This microwave is great so far. We have only had it 3 weeks, but we love it. It is very easy to set the clock and set the times for heating. The fan is very powerful! It is very noisy, but that is ok with us. When we installed it, one of the light sockets was broken. The Geek Squad came out the next day and it was fixed within 15 minutes! Great service. Love Best Buy!

Other than my husband not having the easiest time getting it installed (still got it in eventually), we have no complaints at all with this microwave. We've lived in apartments for the last four years and have used the exact same model so when we were looking for a microwave for our new house we knew this one had all the functions we loved and was a great price!

Inexpensive over the stove microwave and it works well, have not had any problems with it. The exhaust fan is a little noisy but I had a GE Spacemaker before and the fan was noisy too, so should have expected this to be the case as well.

This microwave is a great buy for sure, but that doesn't mean it hasn't got great style and lots of features. I like the fact that it has a turntable (can easily be turned on and off) as well as an additional cooking shelf.

Once this microwave was assembled and places over the oven, it looks really nice and works great! You do need a lot of tools and to follow directions exactly to get it set up - which is a little nerve racking when you are drilling big holes in your caninets! But, that would come with any over-the-range microwave. Overall, geat microwave with every option you would need - looks new and modern in the kitchen! It was also one of the more reasonably priced options I was looking at, so it's a great deal for the price!

This microwave works really well for my family. The feature I really enjoy is the fan kicks on when I am cooking on the gas burner below after it detects smoke. We chose this microwave because it matches our other white GE appliances. For the price, there isn't a better microwave. My only gripe is the amount of noise it produces when cooking. Otherwise, no other issues.

Bought this to replace a similar GE OTR microwave that died after half a dozen years or so. Expected the new one to be the same as the old one, and for the most part it is. The new model has some nice upgraded features, but Lordy it is noisy! Don't think I'll buy the same model next time around if it also is this noisy.

I am very happy with the fan cooling unit in this microwave as I do use our microwave to cook for 20+ minute sessions. I believe that the price for this unit was a good value for our needs. I am concerned that appliances today do not have a good track record for sustainability. Hoping this one will give us at least five years of service.

Does everything you need it to do. Easy install. Value product

We bought this GE because our old one (also GE) died after about 5 years. The saleswoman thought t would mount with the existing brackets and holes. Though it did not, install was easy enough. Definitely a two person job. Seems a bit bigger than the old one, and the fan runs on high whenever it's cooking. It cooks well. Hope it lasts more than 5 years.

I like the unit but the fan has only two speeds (high and low) and both are very noisy. Actually, there is very little difference in noise between both of them, and comparing with my previous microwave, I would prefer to have three speeds: high, medium and low.

I was disappointed when we got it put up and found that some of the parts were missing. Never was able to get the parts. Then tried Samsung and after installing, found that only one setting on the fan worked. We then went back and ordered a Whirlpool. After trying first the GE, then the Samsung, we finally got a Whirlpool - which is highly rated; and are now extremely happy. This microwave beats the others hands down. Also, the brackets on each microwave is different.; so you now have many holes. My opinion is to buy the Whirlpool, and you will be very happy you did and won't have all the holes that I have.

Bought this to replace an older Microwave oven. It didn't turn on the third day after installation. Absolutely no power. No display. Nothing. Took it back to the store, got a replacement GE over. This time, the fan stopped working. Unplugged it, left it over night, tried it the next day, the fan was still non functioning. Took it back and got an LG. Perfect.

My old GE oven was working great for 17 years until the handle broke. This one looked like a good replacement. Of course it had a completely different mounting bracket and different holes had to be drilled in the overhead cabinet. It workers great and is packed with various. features such as turntable, timer, etc.
