This is above and beyond what I expected. The store DEMO was cool but I had way more fun when I got it home and started playing with it!! It was also on clearance for $99.99 so it was a great value as well!

My Gear VR for the S6 arrived this week from Best Buy (fast shipping!) and connected easily with my S6. The new headgear feels lighter, but the main advantage was the micro-USB port which allows you to debug without removing the S6 from the Gear VR. Huge time saver for developers. Recommended if you have yet to take the VR plunge - and have an S6, of course.

So I am someone who loves technology from my phone to video games and this is a great combination of both. Now keep in mind I didn't buy an s6 just for this and this by any means is not an accessory you need but dang is this thing awesome. I have had many family memberS and friends try this to gather their opinions and each person is blown away. It is a little pricey and there isn't a while lot of app selection bit this is basically an earlier adopter edition so if you understand that then everything will be perfect. If you already have an s6 this may be the best accessory on the market. Ages that tested this range from 9-40. I love this product but needs time to evolve into something greater.

Love the concept and it works pretty good a little clunky. The biggest problem with it is the phone overheats and need to take a break to continue. may need some sort of cool fan.

This is a pretty solid unit for an introduction into VR. The field is obviously just in the beginning stages so don't expect HD quality displays but more than enough to get by and with only a little bit of the screendoor effect. Once Samsung releases some 4k devices it will be much better. The head tracking is unbelievably accurate, that's probably the one thing that has impressed me the most, never skips a beat. Apps are a little sparse but there are some gems out there. No cardboard support is a bummer but if you knowwhat you're doing ( check XDA forums ) you can easily get it to run cardboard apps by disabling the GearVR service.

Overall decent product, but the technology still isn't there yet. I must say the price is surprisingly low for what you are buying, but this does not include the phone which if bought without a contract starts in the 600's. I suggest waiting a year or two until all the bugs have been taken out, the quality of the viewing area is improved, and lastly, most importanly for me, there is more room for personal tweaking (e.g. As Android is designed in comparison to the limited tweaking of the iPhone OSX).

Pretty nice experience, much more believable than I had anticipated and completely acceptable comfort. It didn't weigh me down too much during the lengthier times I spent using it. I wasn't bothered by it, although fitting it with the adjustable straps almost every time I put it on was a little annoying. Good to try out, but I'll keep the next generation. The software isn't that special yet.

Just what I was expecting. Specifically designed for the galaxy S6. Try before buying as long time use can make you nauseous and strain the eyes

For my first dip in the VR pool, this worked/works nicely. The image quality isn't as good as i would like but it's very fun to use. Good buy!

Vr gear is good...but mine have overheating problem...Idk mine was diffective or all of them have same problem. Overall gud gear for beginners

It's 360 degree VR for under $100. Enough said. It's not refined, but it has the advantage of being one of the first on the market.
