This computer was new to me Favorite purchase of the year

It arrived on time, and works well and as expected!

This purchase was a total scam, the battery died after 2 months. $1,000 purchase and Best Buy refuses to help without charging me $200. What is the point of "Geek Squad Certified" if the laptop will become useless 2 months after purchase? I just want them to fix this issue.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The charger was sticky and the Mac was the wrong color ($30 price difference). Customer service was disgraceful. They assured me multiple times that I’ll receive the price difference as a refund, even made me drive to a store to show them the color, but at the end told me it’s now past the refund and return window and nothing can be done. Never buying from Best Buy again!

I was thrilled with my purchase of the refurbished iMac pro. I kept getting messages that delivery was delayed. Then I got a message that the purchase was canceled and the credit would take up to 48 hours to be posted. It never got posted. Good thing I noticed. The person I spoke to just posted it, now I know I need to be vigilant. I am sad.

The Macbook I received was under management by another company and so you couldn’t set it up. There’s nothing you can do about it, I’m not sure how that gets around QA and Geek Squad refurbishing teams.

Best Buy shipped a MacBook instead of a MacBook Pro - not geek squad certified - poor customer support, poor packaging, lazy web site updating - overall not what you would expect from a large retailer

the laptop was was own by Alaska Airline and require company log in, geek squad didn't even notice that?

DO NOT BUY. Laptop was locked by Amazon… very disappointed with this purchase.

After a couple of days of usage , i am postin this. Previously i am using an Intel-powered Mac; after switching to this i observed a massive time saving in my work. Its a engineering marvel of apple.

Really no issue. For the price, it was worth it. I’m really happy with this purchase

MacBook was exactly as described and in perfect working condition.

Do not, EVER, buy best buy refurbished. They delivered a computer that is not functional, and offer no recourse other than to travel to a Best Buy store and return it. No tech support unless you PAY THEM MORE FOR IT. Absolutely unconscionable.

I was very excited about getting this machine with the Geek Squad certification... I thought it meant something. However, when it arrived and I started to set it up. A prompt popped up that said the machine is Remote Managed and owned by Amazon. When I looked up what this meant, it was either stolen or was misappropriated. Either way, Best Buy did not do the job they claim of checking it out and making sure it was fully functional and ready for use. I'm done with Best Buy, their lack of diligence, poor performance, and misinformation/lies. But, 5 stars to the Waxahachie, TX store for making the return fast and easy.
