Installed antennae in the center of my windshield, really right in the center, worst place ever. Have been helpful in dealing with problems that have occured, just havn't been able to fix them. I have had installation before and everything went perfect, so it's hit or miss.

I purchased a Geek Squad - Remote Start and Keyless Entry Installation (Hardware Not Included), which as find until I went to have the work done. I called to make a appointment and the tech required i bring the Remote Start in so he could look at it. Then they wanted me to buy another part at a $ 130.00. after spending $ 158.00 on the
Installation kit. I would never every spend a dime at Best Buy.

I purchased the remote start with Geek Squad installation for my significant other for Christmas. I noticed it said "installation hardware not included" so I called both Geek Squad and Best Buy to see what extra parts I would need to get this installed and both told me NONE (after giving them make and model of the car). I tried for 3 weeks to get an appointment. Online said there was nothing available, and it was nearly impossible to reach someone on the phone to schedule. After finally speaking with a human, the soonest appointment they had available was in MARCH and I would supposedly need another $140 worth of parts to complete this. I have never been more frustrated. I ended up returning it because the whole point of the remote starter was so my boyfriend could start his car in the winter, not spring. Severely unhappy with the customer service and knowledge, rather lack thereof, of the staff. This was not my first purchase at Best Buy, but it is definitely my last.

Job was well done and the device worked as intended, however, at the end there were some surprising overcharges and the web site's advertisement end up being false. Be careful.....or... be ready to pay a minimum of $100 in extra charges!

Bad experience with installers

I was scheduled at 10AM and they told me I could pick it up at 12noon.
It is 7PM and I just got back from the store... I waited 9 hours for him to install it because "the internet wasn't working and he couldnt download needed files" After he was able to download them he couldn't figure out why the AUX button wasn't opening my trunk. I had to leave and reschedule an appointment at a different best buy and I hope they can fix it. Also the 1 mile range it says it has won't work past a block, I'm not sure if its the installation or the product... He also didn't give me the secondary key that came with it and now no one knows where it went... truly a horrible experience. They have no clue what they're doing... he followed an online guide... I could have done that myself, I thought they'd know how to do it.

I think Best Buy does not have the expertise to install these starters. My brand new car is now in a mess. I will see if they will repair it, but it is frustating that I have to go begging them to fix it. Customer service at ALL Best Buy stores is poor.

1. Greek squad charges you additional money, I was being asked to pay 50$ additionally apart from what I paid.
2. very bad customer service, both from Best buy & Greek squad.
3. Best buy store manager was very rude, unhelpful, careless, not worry about customer problems.
4. Wrong information provided during purchase of this deal, and didn't help after purchase.

Very poor customer experience for Geek Squad installation.
I bought it along with Viper remote start and returned on same day.
I have not received the refund from them till now.
Very poor customer service from Best Buy specially in returning these service related items.
Every time when I call them they say we will do it today.
