Having an extra hand in the matter of trouble shooting problems and connecting with the answers I need in a timely fashion is an asset. If you are not traditionally "tech" savvy, this service would be useful. Whether in the store or via the phone, having the support is helpful.

Geek squad could explain better as to what had been fixed with repairs however their repairs are spectacular. i wouldnt bring my lab top anywhere else .

I went to store and they did a long bech attemt to fix my pc tower. They could not fix and suggested the one year teck support, which I purchased. They had the tower for like 2days. I received email all is well. I brought it home and the same problem was still there. A day or two later I returned to the store and requested my money back which was denied by the teck support person and a store manager.Only option available was an abjusted refund wich was reduced by the one nogood repair. After about 30 min. the only option available was for me to retur to the store with the tower for them to check for possible hardware attachments being the problem. I did that the next morning and as i approched the counter the tech said you are here for us to look at your pc. THe teck took it back into the teck area and several min. later came out and said it is working just fine. I asked her to put it on the counter and let me see it running.The teck did and it ran just fine. I returned home and it has not run since. It is now like 3 weeks and it is still not working. It ts doing the same thing it did the first day I was there.
I was am completly confused how it did not work on the counter, it was fixed(so called) and then after I had it,and it didn't work, it worked after several min. in the teck room.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
