I called the the Geek Squad for a printer setting problem and they said they had to take over my computer online to change it. I agreed and next thing I know it has been 4 hours and now I still can't print but now I can't even open my e-mails. I never had any other problems, my e-mails and my computer was working great. Now I can't use it or check any e-mails on my computer!! Very upset!!! Still not fixed!!! My computer is useless!!

I bought my Acer Aspire laptop in early August long before school started and explained to the associate my techno curse. I was easily sold the premium tech support package and warranty plan. All together I paid over $1,000 for an $800 laptop. So here I am two weeks into the semester and I cannot open any email attachments or anything on our online bulletin board system that we use at my school. We check assignment postings, our instructors send feedback on assignments, and we upload our assignments on this system and I cannot open anything. Thankfully I have not had trouble uploading my assignments. I have attempted to open in a new window, save to desktop, document folder, skydrive and my flashdrive. Nothing works. The word window pops up and stays blue while opening in protected mode infinitely and then doesn't close properly either. I take the laptop back to the store where I purchased it and the geek squad on hand made me make an appointment to see a higher ranking geek squad member. So I come back three days later for the first opening they had and see this guy. He tells me that windows 8 will interpret windows 7 as a virus and that he'll have to hold my laptop for 15-20 days, maybe even thirty. I tell him that that is unacceptable I cannot go a month without my computer in the height of my final semester, and ask for a loaner while I wait. He explains that it is a busy time with back to school but they do not give out loaners. Leaving me with no options I left the store with my laptop unrepaired and extremely unsatisfied. DO Not waste your money !

My PC suffered a untoward event that for lack of a better term might just as well best be described as a crash. It was decided the best solution was to do a complete refresh which mean I would lose personal files on it. I authorized the repair. I went back and forth with Geek Squad members for 4 plus days asking when I could pick up my PC just to find out they were still waiting for me to say go! Finally I spoke to the tech who took it in originally, and it was ready the next day. Too put it simply poor management!
