Where should I begin. I bought this service on the premise that I would receive some assistance with my new computer and the inevitable difficulties that go along with such a purchase having never owned a lap top or having used Windows 8. I was refused any assistance in initial set up. The agent stated,"well that is something we could do for you if we had time, but there is just no way. I'm sure you can figure it out." I then scheduled an appointment to drive the 35 miles back to the store to get assistance with some issues. My Geek Squad tech was brand new and didn't even have the Geek Squad uniform yet. She could not help me at all with any of my issues. She left each time I posed a question, to ask another employee everything that I asked her. The more seasoned employee was busy talking about his weekend with a member of the sales team and left the new agent and me oblivious to how to accomplish the tasks that were confusing us. We could not even hook up to the wireless internet in the Best Buy store and when I approached him directly to assist us, he said "I don't know why it isn't working. What do you want me to do about it?" He never even laid hands on my computer. I still don't understand the computer or Windows 8. My Geek Squad purchase was an unequivocal waste of my money and time.

Took my Toshiba All-in-One in for a tune-up and to solve my IE hang-ups. Also, too many processes were running. After 7 days, the IE still locks up, there still 71 processes running and I get Low memory warnings. I am convinced that your techs are not qualified to do anything except to install software and run virus programs and can not diagnose problems.

I was not told that my laptop would be held hostage for 5 days until after I paid. Yes, I should have asked but I never dreamed it would be that long. Not a good value, in my opinion, and bad customer service not to say that upfront.
He did the diagnostic without telling me it would be $200 also- Again, I take some responsibility but this was definately NOT a good first impression of Best Buy's customer service. The guy was nice, though-
