    I left my Off the shelf purchase, for geek squad to load Windows. The lost the power cord. When went pick up computer@ 4:00p waited in line 20 mins then asked for all the 10 or so non busy sales rep to help. She couldn't find cord it and w/out saying I am sorry we misplaced it. She attempted to replace w another off the shelf cord. Asked for manager and he had to take $$$ off computer to remedy errors by Geek squad!

    Took to long to fix my problem

    I called and scheduled an in store appointment to repair my computer. I arrived on time, but had to wait in line for an hour. The excused used by the employee was they do not have enough people in the service department. Once they had my computer it took 10 days to fix and return to me. One employee, Jeff, was the only person that seemed to understand the issue with my computer and worked to resolve the issues. Anyone else I spoke with told me I was one of many computers, 49, and they would get to it when they could.

    I was a little disappointed, because it took 2 days to set my computer up. I still can't link contacts from my email accounts.

    After the agent finished after 2 hours with my computer I got 3 viruses within 45 minutes. Eric G. didn't' know what he was doing. After the second agent spent another 2 hours I finally had to return the computer to the store for repairs. All total, 3 trips, 80 miles round trip each, to get the thing fixed. Not happy with tech support at all!!!

    The goal of the Geek Squad is to get me to buy more Best Buy products. When I brought in a laptop that worked slow I was told it needed a new hard drive. I took my computer back and cancelled the plan. Then I went home, reset my laptop to company default and fixed the problem myself. Frankly, I would like the money back that I spent on their bogus analysis. I have never been so angry about a product from Best Buy.

    Had a problem with a blue screen appearing. Took the hard drive into the store on 5/4/13 it was returned on 5/22/13 a part was replaced. This did not correct the error. Contacted 1the Geek squad on 8/3/13 approximately 2:30 p.m. gave them remote access to the computer. I went through 3 shift changes. Monday morning the problem still had not been resolved. The plan is to take the computer to the store again. I am terribly disappointed in the Geek Squad. I feel it was a waste of money to purchase there plan.

    Business computer was returned with quickbooks completely gone. Geeksquad said there was nothing they could do. Also business pricing program gone and computer would not let me reload, saying I did not have admin rights. Spent 4 hrs on chat with another geek to fix this, then had to call cust service with company to reload the program. Took another 2 hrs because operating system is broken after computer being at best buy geeksquad. Will never use them again, but they got paid for my one year subscription.

    Staff was very helpful people who worked on computer was not so great had to take it back again. Still is not working right.

    The Geek Squad was not able to fix the issues I was having with my laptop. They wanted to wipe it clean and start over, which I was not comfortable with. My neighbor was able to fix all the issues I was having by looking things up on the internet. Geek Squad also deleted both my anti virus programs even though I told them I would not be using the protection software that came with the tech support.

    Protection plan is overpriced for what it covers.

    The protection plan seems like a scam. You get a "discount" for using it, but it doesn't cover things like hard drive.

    After a great sales experience, we were more than let down by four trips, no notification and eventually getting the store manager to just get our new laptop released to us. The counter people for the Geek Squad sure lived up to their name. This is the second really poor experience we have had with the service at Best Buy and I don't see us making further major purchases at this retailer.

    I purchased a computer and got home with it and couldn't access it because it was sold as new but was preowned with that person's info. I returned it to store and purchased another computer that was setup in the store by the geek squad. Got home with this computer and discovered it had a bad wireless card. The best buy employee that completed the setup had to know the card was bad. I returned it to Best Buy and got very bad customer service. Would not recommend the 1 yr. Tech support.

    Hard drive crashed and you were to transfer data and setup. You transfered the data but left it in an unusable condition. Costs me another $200 for someone to setup the files like they were before the crash and I was told that this was part of the $350 price Best Buy charged.

    The Geek Squad does not live up to its advertising. I do not have time to deal with something as frustrating as dealing with the Geek Squad. I brought my laptop in 4 times in one week and they never did fix it. It is slower now than it was before they touched it. I have a problem walking and have to use a scooter, which has to be unloaded and loaded each time. I have thrown away $200.

    If you know the basics on computers, this is not necessary. For new users and elderly people, it'll come in handy.

    I brought my HP Laptop in 2007, brought it in for a complete wipe and operating system refresh. They did a defrag and restore. I already did that, and was charged $65.00. Went back next day and given the run around to get me to get frustrated enough to leave. So had to change this sentence, no swear words but called inappropriate language lol. Claim no manager or expert available. Wow

    I was not satisfied at all and I actually did not get my PC fixed at all. No follow up and the "Geek " actually told me that he did not care if he lost a customer or not. I will not be back to Best Buy and several of my FB friends and my Family and work feel the same way.

    I needed to have data transferred from the backup disk from my previous computer to the new one. Your people said it could not be done. After four days I collected my computer from the Geek Squad and my Godchild did it for me. She also downloaded other data from the pervious computer to this one. I spent all that money for Geek Squad services and it was a waste I can ill afford.

    I called about 2 issues. My touchpad had become disabled. One guy told me to take the machine to the store, I called back later to get a different opinion and she was giving me directions for a different machine than mine. I accidentally solved the problem. I asked how to access the Toshiba App Store search function and was given the wrong directions. Problem still unresolved.
