The teck support at the store at the time of the purchase was great,a week later i called the 800 number for help, was on the phone 2 hours and did not get any answers. a week later I went on the Geek site for a live chat and after an hour the little box asked me if i wanted to retry to connect for a live chat. i am sorry to have paid for a 2 year teck support contract.

Purchased a one year geek squad support because they stated they could fix a hard drive. In fact they could not but would send it out but could cost up to 1,000 to fix. Go figure. $200 later I have nothing. Should have burned the money. Would have been the same thing

Some of the agents do not know what you are telling them is your problem. I have spent much time on the telephone with them and the one finally told me to "GO BACK TO THE STORE AND ASK THEM!" What kind of customer service is that...especially since I paid for the product? It was a waste of my money for sure!

I took in my computer because I could not get my laptop to connect to my internet. When I got my computer back it was completely trash. It won't even turn on now. What was a working computer that my kids could do most of their homework on, is now worthless. They told me they could not refund me but would give me a $100 credit towards a new one and then offered to recycle my 2 year old laptop. I'm less than pleased. I will never do business with Geek Squad again.

Two of my computers work worse after you messed with them than they did before we brought them in. And your store people did not bother talking to the Geek squad online people, so we paid twice to have the same computer worked on....and neither of you fixed it.

I called to ask assistance to change my internet settings, they said they could not help unless they were able to remote in to the computer and that it would take about 4 hours, at the time (9pm) it was too late for me to allow them to remote. In addition the only thing I wanted for them to tell me how to get to the internet setting to change the kid protections, The girl was stubborn and would not tell me without being able to remote it.

Hooking up computer at work, our IT person said I needed the Windows 8 Professional for Network.....I was not sure so called the 800# Geek squad. After 20 minutes, the person figured out what computer and Windows 8 I had and after checking with 3 other Geeks, said there is NO Windows 8 Professional that what I have should work. Did Not....went on-line myself....Purchased Windows 8 professional and all is good. What a waste of $99. I am

I had to make three phone calls in order to make any progress at all. Wait time for each call was 15-20 minutes before speaking with a rep. Once I was able to speak with someone, I found knowledge of product and software to be less than satisfactory.
One call to the Dell customer support group and I was able to resolve my issues in a short time.

When I bought the extended tech package (geek squad ), they took out what I had just renewed at almost $100 a year (trendmicro) and put in the kepersky for free....i didn't ask for it...they said it came free with the tech pkg...They didn't give me any information about the product.

didn't install antivirus software they sold me instead they installed free one off internet. deleted 2 of my programs had it for a week longer than said and downloaded a version of explorer that isn't compatible with Windows xp and returned the computer back filthy. didn't even trust them enough to take it back instead went somewhere else

Tried to get my laptop fixed. was told the hard drive was bad for my laptop and three other computers I brought in. Took computers to a friend at a university tech. center and he fixed them all with little to no problems. All computers are running great now! no thanks to geek squad. none of them needed new hard drives. would not recommend this plan to others. staff can be friendly but often are condescending with customers :(
