    our first appointment the tech did not show up. next appointment he did come on time, if you want to call a 4 hour window on time, but he wasn't very friendly, did not have the proper tool to do the work requested . we were not happy with the service he provided . for 100 dollars he plugged 5 cabels into the back of the new computer

    I regret purchasing this membership. Many oversights in performance of the work which resulted in me making four 45 minute trips - two of which were unnecessary. Even though you make an appointment you wait 30 minutes minimum to get assistance. The manager does not seem to understand the concept of service when a request for assistance was made. The Geek Squad is poorly organized and has very poor company policies.

    Paid $200 bucks to get my laptop fixed, they said my hard drive was bad and could remove any viruses. Took laptop to my work IT Tech. He was able to clean and remove virus. Currently laptop works great without any issues. Great waste of $200 for no value in services rendered.

    I have better results when I take to geek squad. Only problem with that is you have to leave product with them for about a week.

    This product/service was sold as providing on-line training and backup expertise for a user migrating to the Windows 8 platform. After waiting on hold for approx. 35 minutes I was informed the service covers only failure of my new computer. Was referred to an on-line education site and found nothing of use unless I wanted to purchase additional "services". It's a long time since I was taken, but this qualified.

    I brought my computer in to get fixed for what was supposedly a corrupted windows program. They gave it back said it was fixed. When I got back to school 6 hours away it turns out it is still broken. And now I have no way to get it fixed. Not cool, complete waste of $350.

    I think your Geek computer service agreement is a waste of money and time. No help from the 800 number. Problem with computer has never been fixed. Blamed on defective mouse(replaced) and now the internet service! Geek in store service no help. You have lost a customer.

    I got windows 8. If you are thinking of getting an new CPU, DON'T. Upgrade the hard drive, mother board jus don't get windows 8. This is the second CPU and when I took this back to best buy they said I had 61 viruses, the scrubbed it clean and put the virus protection they reconnmended and only charg3d me $199.00 all this and still I get internet freezes and still can not use my media player. This sucks.

    Every time something goes wrong with computer, it needs to be brought in to store. Can't get people to answer phone when needed. Last phone conversation I wasn't able to hear clearly person on other end & they finally hung up on me, after waiting 20 minutes for someone to pick up the phone. So now another trip to store.

    Took a working computer in to have it cleaned up from spyware viruses etc. was told they could not fix but bring in the restoration cd's that came with the computer and they would do a date backup and reload the original discs. It worked when i brought it in and now it will not even boot up. Terrible never again!!

    first time ok worked till atomatic update second time, they were trying to fix got a blue scree and shut pc down said sorry but didnt come back on for two days neighbor came over and fixed it for me.geek squad called and appoligized updated again and it wont copy from internet afraid to let work on again

    I was told geek squad would install my software but when I got my computer home the software had not been installed. I had to do it myself. Then I called about a connection issue and got a friendly person but was disconnected in the middle of the process and never heard anything back. I need a refund.

    Give you 1 eq. Transferred to Technical help. After being on hold for 1hour and 29 min. the phone went dead. Yes I never got to talk to anyone. A joke, a waste of money. Called local Best Buy where I purchase computer and GEEK contract and was told by local people that new nothing about Windows 8.

    They kept my new computer for two days to install Web Root. When I went to pick it up it was not installed. They also promised to start it up and make sure it worked before I left. Instead they taped the box up and handed it to me. I ended up hiring an outside computer business to complete the work.

    Was told there was no other chose, don't worry it's only $245. My husband stopped her and I took it home, put my Norton on that Infinity gives free and found out it was due to the new update to windows 8.1 bug that they were fixing. Cost me nothing. I really have a hard time shopping there now

    Very disappointing. I purchased support, left my computer at store, rec'd 4 calls it was fixed, and picked it up. It still has same problem and the entire situation is a problem.

    i bought a desk top computer and couldnt get internet. the tech told me i had to pay more money for them to help me. you are already overpriced as it is. let alone pay more. i wraped it up and took it back to the store and bought one else where.

    They did not provide the correct advise on initial assessment later after install of 2 of the same receivers they have not come back to get the remotes working and I have to keep calling very poor service and lack of technical knowledge
