Because I had to replace my computer on the fly, I signed up for the Geek Squad so they would have my computer set up the way I wanted when I got there to pick it up. When I got to my next stop and had time to get on the computer, none of the things I had asked them to do were done.

Thanks to the Geek Squad, my computer works great, is fast efficient and I no longer have issues caused by virus attack and cookies installed from unsecured sites. Again, thank you Geek Squad.

Best buy is the worse! you can not even call the store, only an 800 number who will connect you if they think your reason for calling is valid. I was charged $199 for the service plan and $84 for a hard drive I did not need. never talked to the same person twice. no wonder they are going under. the worse customer service anywhere except for Verizon,

I've tried to call for support repeatedly, even late at night, as was suggested to me, and spent hours and hours on hold but could not get connected to a support agent.
So far, I see zero value in the Geek Squad Tech Support Membership. There's no way I could recommend it.

Agent told me the laptop was fixable, would call about extra parts that might be needed. Call came that laptop was not fixable. Agent was more interested in the $200 than a repeat customer.
Some lessons are expensive.

My iPad crashed less than a month after purchase. I took it back to the store and they said they would get back to me. It's been ten days and I have not gotten it back. Service has been unresponsive, web tracking has been inaccurate. Very disappointed in Geek Squad.

Matt T from Cleveland, Ohio had no clue what he was doing, and he knew it too since he didn't even note my call with him. Found this out when I called the next morning to try to have the mess he made fixed! Made me totally afraid to make another call for help!

They said they would clean it, it came back dirtier. Computer crashes more often, sold me a year of tech support-when I said I didn't want it. Took over 4 days, I don't think they even started on it until I called about it. Bottom line-computer came back worse.

I lost about 480.00 due to them not getting my computer fixed as promised when they said they would. I had to go in the store and remind them I was waiting and they said the part I ordered was not in and it had been sitting on the shelf for about 5 days.

what's wrong was the extremely slow pace of work.the profound lack of information about the status of the repair.the lack of knowledge about windows 8.i paid a lot of money for this service and it wasn't worth it.my computer still isn't running properly.

The Geeks told me the hard drive was bad, needed to be replaced, and could not retrieve data without $150 charge. I fixed the problem with free software (2 viruses) and the computer has been fine since.

I had a problem setting up my email, they couldn't help me so I contacted my internet provider and they were able to solve the problem. I payed 90+ for Geek Squad and they wanted to charge another 45.00 to send a tech. out here. Not happy at all!

I got everything that I need from a local computer repairman for a fraction of what I was charged for your service! The Best Buy associate gave false and very misleading. Less than 5 minutes at the Geek Support counter, I was told that the information that I was given was wrong. I got a refund for the service.

I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET A BACKUP OFF OF MY OF MY OLD LAPTOP BUT WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE THE DRIVE WAS TOO DAMAGED. LATER I WAS ABLE TO GET DATA OFF MY DRIVE. BEST BUY TOOK ME FOR $80 FOR SERVICES THAT WERE NOT PERFORMED.

Diagnosed problem, was told wrong information from several "agents". Waste of 200.00 dollars. Worthless service and poor customer service. Highly not recommended. Sad I'm stuck with a one year plan I'll never use again.

I had to take my laptop to Greek squad to have it fixed .They took my support 24/7 at the time I checked in and never returned it to me. I hope, I don't need that disc to take my laptop back to be fixed in the future.
