    Wonderful customer service

    The rep was very smart, asked me all the right questions and seemed to know exactly what I needed. It was fun to watch him take over my computer and do his thing. He made me feel like all my concerns were important. I would recommend this service to anyone.

    Geek Squad is highly knowledgeable and can tackle a variety of issues. Just do yourself a favor- tell someone what's wrong and just send them - the wait times are sometimes ridiculous.

    I am highly satisfied with the GeekSquad. I've only had to contact them once to assist me with navigating the Windows 8 applications/software. A GeekSquad tech walked me through the process and even e-mail me documentation and manuals on navigating Windows 8. This was very helpful. Thanks GeekSquad for all of your help!!!

    It's ok and nice to know you have it. My experience in tghe past has been the techs don't know what they are doing but recebntly at the R-ville store, I have had positive results.

    I bought my current computer fom Best Buy in 2008. I was using my ISP's security program and Norton and something got past them both. I took my tower to Best Buy. The Geek Squad cleaned it up and got me back online in a very short time. The price was reasonable and I can contact them live, 24/7 and get them instantly.

    Terrible costumer service for no appointment

    I am writing this on behave of my mother who was treated terrible by geek squad member raymond at the best buy in the city of hawthorne. My mom has a few laptops she wanted fix so she wanted to see how much geeksquad would be. She waited in line to speek to someone and when we got to raymond he dismissed my mom because she didnt have an appointment. He didnt even offer to hear her question before calling the next person in line. Once again terrible costumer service on his part and geeksquad.

    I highly recommend it because you will never know when your computer will be needing repair and it's like and insurance that assures you, that it's there when you need them most.

    With computers these days you never know what's going to happen. When used they were quick, knowledgeable and friendly!! Small price to pay for peace of mind!!

    I didn't get my issue solved over the phone, as a matter of fact make some things worse. The in store tech. actually listened to what I was saying and got to bottom of problem.

    I'm glad I have this service and if there was a limit like I could only use 3 times a month for 12 months I probably wouldn't have gotten this offer. As it is I have no complaints, the agents are helpful, the time it takes them to do something like an update is outrageous I think but what can you do, nothing.

    Didn't fix problem after 3-tries; refused refund

    I purchased the 1-year tech support plan to fix an Office 2013 issue (intermittent send issues with Outlook). Took about 1-1/2 hours for the tech to do his stuff (online chat - worked fine). Problem recurred later that day, so I spent another 1-1/2 hours with another tech who did similar work. Problem was still recurring. So I spent another 1-1/2 hours on the phone, and tech (also nice) did essentially the same thing as #1 did. Problem kept recurring, so, after 3-days and 5-hours and 3-tries, I decided I wanted my money back. I called customer support, and they informed "Your refund will be processed within 1-billing cycle." Seemed odd, but okay. Next day, I get a call to see how things went. I casually mentioned I had received a refund, which he said "No you won't - we did work, we deserved to be paid - read your contract, we'll keep trying." Conversation went downhill from there. I contacted Lenovo premium support, which was less expensive, and they fixed the problem in 30-minutes (add-ins on Outlook when installed).

    Had to use the service for a bad virus infection....they knew exactly what was wrong......good turnaround time to repair............competely satisfied.....no loss of data......and very helful

    Great value, great support when I needed it

    I tried to go through my internet provider for my problem but they had no idea how to help me, did not even have the software on their computers, When I called the Geek Squad, they were fantastic! They quickly fixed my issue over the phone and were very patient with my lack of computer knowledge.

    Spent hours online with a representative trying to figure out a problem with a printer. We didn't get any further than I did on my own. I tried to explain what Ihad already tried but the agent kept trying the same things over and over. Eventually ended call without resolving the issue.

    Do not buy a Window 8 machine with out it

    Counter service has been great. My attempts to use on line have been bad. One agent had loud noises in the background and I could not understand him. Some of the women talk too fast with high pitched voices and I could not understand them. Some had accents that made them impossible to comprehend.

    I don't know what I would do without them. They have been great, they answer questions even the dumb ones with a smile. They are professional and have been able to help me fix what I thought was not working when it was just me!

    Unexperience Help-Geek Squad

    I brought my old desktop computer in because the video card needed to be replace. It was a work computer that had important documents. I told the Asian tech guy that I needed to get a video card for my computer and if they carried a video card for my computer. I showed my video card that I took out and also the inside of my computer motherboard. He reply and answer I don't know if we have a video card in the store that is exactly like yours. So I ask so what video cards do you carry then that would fit into my computer. He replied I don't know you have to go to our sales department. I then told him, are you kidding. You work in the geek squad fixing computers and you don't know what kind of video card your store sells that a customer is asking to get it replace for his computer. He then shows me the aisle for the video card. Of course he was unhelpful. He stood there and didn't tell me which video card would fit in my computer. No suggestions from him. I had to pick at random which video card would fit my computer. He tells me that I couldn't open the box to try to see if the video card would fit inside my computer until I pay for the purchase of the item. I told him is there anyway to open it and try it before buying it he said no. So of course I opened it and it didn't fit. I wasted my time in buying the video card and returning in in less than 10 minutes. Overall I think the Geek Squad hires employees that have no clue about hardware. If you fix computers, your job is to help the customer with the hardware if there is a problem and know what computer hardware (parts) is sold in your store. I would not recommend going to them for any computer repair or services.

    Geeks have never disappointed me

    The store manager and all associates at the Port Arthur, Texas BEST Buy location are super customer oriented. Not so much at the Beaumont, Texas Best Buy. Loyal long time Best Buy customer. Just purchased my 9th computer there and lost count of number of printers, routers, TV's, GPS, etc.

    I have brought a couple computers in for loading software, backups, installation of new software, RAM and Hard drives and have been satisfied every time. They have been able to fix it when they said they would and they take time to go over all the changes with me and how they operate.
