I have used the services at geek squad several times. Always fast, and courteous. I bought the protection plan to keep things inline and to have a head start in case of emergency.

quick and efficient once they got here- mix up with scheduling, even though scheduled 10 days prior.

The agent I worked with got things done quickly- setting up Internet protection on my iPhone & iPad. She was very patient with me and answered my questions. Didn't talk down to me.

Everything is great but can take some time and clear out visus' on the computer

We bought the annual membership when I got a new laptop thinking that it would be great for keeping our older PCs running. To remove a common virus, I brought in one of those PCs. This should have been simple. The computer was running slowly but still working. At drop off the employees were insistent that I pay for a $99 backup which I declined. Three days later I came to get the PC. At that point the PC was dead, the hard drive corrupt, and all of my data lost. The employees insisted that this was my fault because I declined the data back up. As the conversation progressed, I learned that their technique for removing a virus explained their great interest in doing a complete back-up. They just reformat the hard drive! Stupid. In doing so they corrupted the hard drive and boom that was it. End of PC. While the Norwalk employees insisted all of my data was gone, my usual local guy was able to recover about 60% of the data. Thank you Norwalk Best Buy! Since then I have been very reluctant to let them touch my stuff. Way more than a waste of the membership money given end of that PC and the cost of the data recovery at my other guy..

It was easy getting an agent, she was curious, helpful, and communicated well.

Never doubt the expert opinion of highly qualified technichans always confident any issues will b resolved thoroughly n effectively

had my pc worked on by holly she was great she worked on it for about 5 hrs cleaning it and fixing problems i felt comfortable with her she was so nice she gets a 8 star from me

My computer would not update and the technician did not give up until it was fixed. I am not sure what caused the problem however.

from set up to transferring files from my old computer the geek squad has really been worth the cost hope I don't have to use them with a problem but I know they'll be there

Good value if purchased at the time of your computer purchase. Saves a lot of time if you have 3 devices that different people use with varying degrees of computer knowledge

I was disappointed in the service. It took six days longer than promised initially and only after numerous phone calls did I ever get an answer as to when I could expect my computer back. I was not happy that my Microsoft Office programs were erased from my harddrive, especially in light of the fact that most of my possessions are boxed and stored, so I don't have access to the discs to reload on my laptop!!!! I'm not a happy camper!!!

They respond quickly to my situation and spend time working with me to figure out the problem and time helping me understand how to rectify it. They are true professionals.
