My laptops had intrusion from outside source that caused slow functioning. Windows 8 apparently played a part in getting the computer to boot properly.

24 days to replace a washer under warranty

I purchased an LG Washer and the warranty - when the washer broke, I was informed that the Geek Squad doesn't cover appliances and they need to find a 3rd party company. It took 9 days to get a tech out, and 15 more days after he reported his findings. I called "Special Forces", their "Public Defender" and everyone else I could and was always promised a "next day resolution". DO NOT PURCHASE their extended protection plan for appliances! It took 24 days for them to resolve the problem - just ridiculous! No one has authority to make any decisions..

When I added Geek Squad to my order I told Sales clerk that I lived in Puerto Vallarta, MX she did'nt say that service was not avail. in Mexico. I would appreciate a refund. Very unhappy with unknowledgable Best Buy employees.

Worst Service Ever

Installed the kitchen appliance on September 9th. Refrigerator Handle broke on 22nd. Called the GS and first thing they asked if I have protection plan. When I said, yes, they connected me to scheduling department. The scheduling department told me since it's a new service, someone will call me within 24 hours to schedule the service. Three days later, no call. I called again Sept 25th and they connected me again........ and still on.. VERY FRUSTRATED!!

My experience was very bad. My lap top screen was cracked to the point where the screen was unreadable and had grease and fingerPrints all over it. They refused tO even explain what happened, and whih employee was responsible. I will never use your service again!!!

First it was the 300 sign up fee then 89 for backup then they couldn't fix other product said I had to pay shipping to there geek squad home base I feel like I got swindled from start to finish I will never use best buy for and computer situation they are not professionals they con artist

I have spent over 12 hours with them over the internet (4 days, 4 different techs) to no avail now they are sending a Tech over Saturday! Let's see if he is worth the $300.00 for three years of Tech Service.

They completely bricked my brand new laptop

The sound stopped working on my new laptop (three weeks old) after installing an HP update. A tech worked for two hours on my computer, then couldn't fix it and told me to call the phone line back. I shut my computer down, then tried to turn it back on, and it was completely dead.
Save your money, unless you like getting your nice, new, expensive equipment turned into pieces of useless garbage.

my experience when i got my laptops and router they came set it up the agent who set it up was not knowledgeable cause he did not set up my router to an - n- he put it a g then i got extreme 50 from comcast my speed did not change im still on the geek squad tech until 2013 and they want me to pay 80 dollars hell no they get their rear ends out here to correct there mistakes never ever use them again

Wasted $200 on them to tell me that it will cost another $200 to fix my computer. Plus it took them 3 days to even look at my computer. It is a waste of money. Just dont go here period!

Well, I think my 3D TV might be ruined. I looked up the Geek Squad's advice on how to clean and now there is a GIANT dark spot, where I started to clean using a microfiber cloth. This is not a new clean spot, but I'm not sure what is wrong now, or how to fix it. I would not recommend using their advice, go somewhere else.

Misdiagnosed my computer and couldn't retrieve my data from it after charging me $80 and having it for almost 2 days. Took to someone else who told me what the correct problem was and extracted my data. They did this all from a restaurant in an hour.

I took my PC to geeks squad at aurora best buy today and the agent told me that there is no 24x7 service available in best buy stores though geek squad card clearly mention 24x7 in store service. She made me to go back in 45 minutes just to hand over my PC. It looks like geek squad doesn't care customer time.
