    I had no idea what was wrong with my computer it would not load it just kept shutting down and restarting over and over again. The tech that looked at it was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me in non tech talk which I really appreciated, he was friendly and very helpful.

    I love having the geek squad insurance, it is just aggravating sometimes that the cost is very high and chances are you end up needing the coverage every time right after the coverage ends, if you buy it for two years, often times your computer doesn't need much work before those two years are up, and they sure don't let you know ahead of time that your policy is about to expire.

    helped me with getting a "95" back up and running. Haven't been able to get it 'online' yet but haven't had time to get back for another appointment on that project yet. Helped with a couple of problems on the Macbook air- one time by appointment and once as a walking with no wait.

    Two computers were not working so badly to be unusable. $200 covers three computers and Kaspersky anti-virus for a year. Everything was fixed on both computers. Now up and running and I know if there is a problem within the year (and a third computer is also flaky) I'll be covered.

    All of a sudden Internet Explorer just disappeared, along with all my favorites and my customized toolbars. In only a few minutes, Ricardo found the problem and fixed it online!! Great service. And to have the Geek Squad available on the internet or in-store gives great peace of mind.

    The Geek Squad took excellent care of me when I bought a new desktop and SSDs and wanted my Win 7 installed too (instead of the Win 8 that came with the computer) and all the latest drivers. Don't expect to need the Geek Squad often but am very glad they are there if I need them.

    I took my laptop in to get rid of virus. They explained how to avoid getting them and proceeded to explain and show me how to take care and use other things as well they were patient with me and did what they said they would when they said they would and I truely appreciate that.

    A great way for you to build customer loyalty. We associate the store with happy events - i.e. solving problems. It has changed our whole shopping patterns. Now we drive way across the city to your location and then visit the stores around there - instead of the ones closer to us.

    Since I work primarily from home, and depend on my computers, the Geek Squad has been my life saver on many occasions. Their service is quick, efficient, and friendly. I have sent friends and family members to them, and they too have been very satisfied.

    Its a good thing to have but I find it to be kind of pricy for what you get. It does protect up to 3 computers though which is good for a family household.

    I bought the membership. You can bring in up to 3 computers during the year to be checked out whether or not you bought them at Best Buy. I have brought in 2 so far. One was repaired, and the other would have been too expensive to repair. So that 2nd one did not count in my 3 limit.

    Agent misrepresented the time it would take. Online repair status was useless. Never showed any status changes. Agent should be clearer as to the lead time.

    I haven't had to use my Geek Squad service plan yet, but I've been very happy with the e-mail communications I have received from them - reminders about internet security, links to instructional videos, etc. Seems like a very professional team. The cost was very reasonable also.

    went online twice to get problem fixed to no avail finally had to go to the store then. Had to take in the computer three times to finally get it fixed

    We purchased the protection since my son will be away at college and he will need extra protection for his laptop. I two weeks he supposedly got a login virus on Windows 8. We took this in and they fixed it in one day by resetting to factory install. I am happy we purchased this.

    Excellent results. Only downside is that it takes a long time to resolve the problem. You have to talk to 3 people to get the right person to solve the issue and there are a couple of long waits. Once the problem is started the technician usually does not need you which is a plus.

    We purchase a new computer and then purchased upgrades for our old computer. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. They took the time to explain all the updates to us and how to use our new Windows 8. It's comforting to know that they are always there if we have questions.
