Great show dealing with Iraq war. Great characters.

This is another great addition to anyones war collection. If you like or love the Wire you will thoroughly enjoy this mini series

A terrific documentarylike drama about the iraq war. Ranks right there with band of brothers and the pacific.

Bought to expand my collection, but not as good as most of my military movies! Can't say it's a bad movie!

Picked this up for only $10 which was an awesome deal. Still haven't watched

This is a great series and I definitely recommend it!

A very realistic look at soldiers in the Iraq war.

The series starts a little slow and throughout you expect more action...but there is not as much as I would have liked. Probably best suited for someone who wants to experience the drudgery of day-to-day recon without the action.

Found it interesting but feel like there are better titles.

I've owned Generation Kill in the past, on DVD, and I was very excited to finally get it in Blu-Ray. It is filmed so beautifully that Blu-Ray really does it justice. The picture and sound quality are amazing on this set, so it's a very enjoyable experience to watch this with a quality TV and sound system. The show itself is one of the best TV miniseries I've ever watched. My only complaint is that the extras in the Blu-Ray set are identical to the extras in the DVD set, with the exception of the pop-up menus with definitions of terms, etc. Overall, this was an excellent purchase. I highly recommend it!

If your into any kind of modern warfare then this is def for you!.. coming from someone who ownes the book and loved it. This show is spot on, its so funny youd think it wasnt true ! Most movies take a book and change everything. Not this it was just so well written and true . Rollingstone wrote the book so you know its going tobe a little more rock n roll then the rest. i liked all the cast and was impressed by the actuall reconn marines that played themselves

This series doesn't pull many punches. I can't speak to it's authenticity since I've never served but it feels authentic to me.

This is a fantastic mini-series. the picture and sound quality is fantastic and this set is a real bargain.
