I loved this movie, it is so awesome, the civil war has always been a time in history, that a lot of my ancestors were effected. I loved this movies, it made me feel like I knew what my GGG grand father went through

Blu-ray is an upgrade to the DVD. The DVD quality isn't bad. But the cannonade audio is I replaced it.

I have loved this movie since I first saw it in the 1990s. My DVD copy got lost over the years, so when I saw this in the bargain bin at the College Station, TX Best Buy, I couldn't resist buying it. The film still is a marvel of movie-making.

I bought this after visiting Gettysburg and seeing a re-enactment. This movie is the definitive theatrical presentation of this piece of history. It was on almost every vendor’s table there. Good purchase for the history nuts.

I’ve been to the Gettysburg battle-sites.. You can still feel some of the heartbreaking sense of lives lost and memorial shown in the movie.. and a history lesson everyone can learn from.

This is a very accurate account of the Gettysburg battle in the Civil War. The actors seem realistic. Civil War reinactors were also used in the fighting scenes.

If you've never seen this, do yourself a favor and watch it. Great for a rainy day because it's going to take you some time to get through it. Awesome cast as well!

We spent our last vacation in Virginia and area. Visited many historical sights, including The Gettysburg battlefield. This is a good movie.

Although it's a long movie, it's all action and historically accurate. All star cast, this move was great. A must see for civil war fans.

I got it for my girlfriend cause she liked it. Not sure what it's about or how accurate it is. But for $4.99 I'm going to find out.

Went to Best Buy to look for movies. I found several family films, including this one, and enjoyed them all!

Great story to watch with family, if you have not or do not know the story, this is the one you want to watch.

This movie runs REALLY long, but if you follow it...it's a GREAT! movie....highly recommend!
