Instant classic and a contender for game of the year 2020. Great graphics and setting with a great storyline. Definitely worth a playthrough.

It's hard to understand how this is one is the first true open world samurai games. In that respect, it's the best samurai rpg in existence. A lot of historically accurate premises and activities, but totally wrapped in the world of video games silliness.

What can I say. Superb game! If you haven’t gotten it please do. The expansion is out and that is amazing as well. I’ve always wanted a game like this but most fell short. Not this game. You will fall in love with the islands.

Sucker Punch Productions did an amazing job with this game. There is a hint of familiarity in the gameplay for anyone who has played the Infamous series, but still it’s own amazing piece of work. An absolutely great game to end this console generation with.

This game actually beats out Last of Us Part 2 and FF7 Remake as my favorite Sony exclusive of last year. The love and attention put into this game oozes out of every second you spend with it. Platinuming never felt like a chore, either.

The game is no doubt beautiful but the game is marred with camera issues when it comes to combat. You aren't able to lock on to enemies which is fine but when involved with combat and attempting to attack a specific enemy you sometimes are guided in the wrong direction. Additionally the camera will often hug the walls if near an object, building, hallway etc. The score is fantastic and the art direction is great, including the plethora of filters you can swap between. The guiding wind is also a nice touch to add to the sense of realization rather than an arrow or a yellow road to follow. I personally couldn't get into the characters but I grasped the themes and arcs. It felt stoic and sterile. Traversing in this game is often breathtaking through the changing views and color palettes, however ascending and descending high ridges/mountains can be a chore. You get upgrades later that open up different options but they are so minimal in use in the grand scheme of things. The combat stances, skill trees and upgrades allow players a wealth of paths to choose based on their play style. There is a wealth of content in this game that fans of newer Assassin's Creed titles and the Far Cry series will be familiar with, actually almost all open world game fans will be familiar with. There is no doubt this title will give you bang for your buck but for me it doesn't do anything above the competition aside from setting/graphic appeal. There's a lot to love about this game but for me it didn't stand out enough from the crowd in terms of gameplay and QOL stuff. Its fine if you don't agree with my opinion - its subjective to my own experience and tastes. Cheers.

I’ve been playing this game and have over 30+ hours and I can’t stop playing it is a masterpiece. It’s gorgeous the gameplay is fun and the lore is a beautiful node to Japanese culture. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys samurai stealth games.

This game is the main reason why I’m a fan of the Playstation brand. The most amazing graphics on any console by far and super fun open world game play. I’ve enjoyed countless hours doing side missions and haven’t even finish act 1. Highly recommended!

I absolutely LOVED Last of Us 2 and I was going to play through it again then GoT came out and there was no looking back! What an incredible game that any gamer that loves a story should try out. Stunning visuals and the fighting is just perfect!

Pretty good game. Graphics and story line are good as well. I like being able to buy and trade in games at BB for my hubby.

Hands down this game is beautiful. It’s an utter joy to explore this open world experience. Sometimes the combat can be a little hard if you charge in so stealth may be warranted on some missions. All in all great game, have fun Samurai!

The last amazing game for ps4 before they switch their developing resources to the ps4. Truly a sight to behold, this game pushes the current generation tech to it's maximum capacity! Realistic sword play and death, so not for the squeamish!

I love this game everything about it is perfect in my opinion. I feel that its like taking part in a movie ie you watch parts of the movie then you get to inter act in the movie for a while catch your breath while you watch another part.

Overall great game. Main story is about 25 hours. adding side quests and collectibles will add another 25 hours. Fighting style is different and a little to get used to. You can figure it out pretty fast. Would say this is a must buy

I completed 90% of all objectives in this game. It is by far the most beautiful game that I have played on the PS4 Pro. While it is "just another" sandbox game the characters and environments make it a cut above the rest.

This game is great!! The gameplay is super fun to play, graphics are great!!! Story picks up after the first act really quick and you get invested in the characters of this world. Definitely recommended, great game to end the PS4 era.

BEST GAME EVER!!! If you like tradition Japanese samurai killing action with amazing graphics then this game is definitively for you. Highly recommends this game, I wish, I was able to give this game more than 5 stars.

As we head into the next gen consoles Sony has released their final masterpiece exclusive. Great game and beautiful graphics. Love exploring samurai lore. Pushes the PS4 Pro to the max. Can’t wait to see what future brings

Probably about a 1/4 of the way throught the game. The open world part of the game is beautiful with lots of various side activities do. Can tell the game is influenced by the old samurai movies like Seven Samurai.
