Sucker punch doesn’t miss! First of all the visuals are breathtaking! One of the best looking games of 2025. Combat has improved from the first game in my opinion, exploring, just taking all the vistas in. Atsu an amazing protagonist in this new tale. Play it!

Game of the year contender! “ Ghost of Yotei” is a very beautiful and immersive gaming experience, a much anticipated game that did not disappoint. I was blown away by how much more content was added and improved on from “Ghost of Tsushima”, Playing “Ghost of Yotei” is a gamer’s dream, I highly recommend “Ghost of Yotei”, a must have for your gaming library.

Previously played ghost of Tsushima and thoroughly enjoyed it so was waiting on this release. It did not disappoint me. Scenery and storylines were fantastic. Enjoyed the new weapons in this game. I am 69 years old and been a gamer my whole life. The boss battles are extremely entertaining and require you to do searching and upgrade your weapons and armor or be defeated.

Kinda weird having two games with extremely similar backdrops (this and AC Shadows) released within such close proximity to each other... And while AC Shadows is indeed a technical marvel, I think Ghost of Yotei is a better game. It's a little bit of a magical reality revenge story instead of the more grounded Shadows, but that kind of variety is what keeps me engaged.

My personal GOTY. Just edged out Bananza and Expedition 33 in my opinion. It doesn’t start as strong as the original, but the gameplay changes and mastery of the combat system along with a compelling story, make for a wonderful experience.

Ghost of Yotei improves upon all the mechanics of GoT. Combat is more visceral, with many new weapon options. The visuals are some of the best I've ever seen, on any platform. The story may not be as epic as it's predecessor, but it's equally compelling. Like the original, the English voice acting is a mixed bag, mostly over the top to mimic the Japanese dialog. The inclusion of Kurasawa and Miike visual modes add impressive graphical touches, making it very cinematic.
Don't let the female protagonist turn you off. She's a strong, fierce warrior with a story to tell.

beautiful and immersive action-adventure with smooth combat, stunning visuals, and a strong story. It builds on what made the original great while adding fresh ideas. A must-play for PS5 fans.

This game was a fantastic part deux for the first. Not a story continuation, but the same Universe. Storyline was great, characters were strong and had depth. I did feel like there are 2 distinct halves to the game, with somewhat different mechanics and difficulties. Scenery is stunning, and i loved the cooking and music.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift and he has really been enjoying it. He really enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima and was excited for this one and he has not been disappointed.

If you enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima, this is a must have follow up. The setting, theme, and controls are fantastic. I really like the open world feel. Highly recommended.

I really like open world games. I am older and do not have the hand eye coordination I once had, so this game allows me to proceed while not dying a whole bunch. Linear games where you must defeat a big boss to proceed can be frustrating. So all-in-all a very playable game with beautiful graphics.

Great game with a woman as hero. Scenery is good too. Yotei's story is not as involved as Ghost of Tsushima but it does pick up at the midpoint. If you are afraid of heights beware. There is also lots of blood and severed hands, arms, etc. I played on Easy (I'm 80)
Makes me want to travel to Ezo.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing Ghost of Yotei. Sucker Punch improved on their open world design, as discovering things out in the world feels more organic.
The newly added weapons, charms, etc. add much more to the gameplay variety. The sound and art direction are also top notch. Should be in contention for GOTY.

I’ve been playing the game since it launched and I’ve been having so much fun. The open world is so expansive and so detailed and the story is on a whole other level it’s so cool. I would definitely recommend buying this game. It’s better then Ghost of Tsushima in every aspect (except the story is a little better on Tsushima).
