Buy it if it's at MSRP

Fast Quiet chews through everything thrown its way. Nice that I was able to buy it for MSRP and not get scalped. I do have buyer's remorse, but it's nothing a few drinks won't chase away. Now it's gone up 100 dollars, and that buyer's remorse suddenly doesn't sting as bad. If you have a chance to buy one do it and don't look back!

Pick a 4090 for looks, not performance

When it comes to 4090s, you're really only choosing the aesthetic you are looking for. Some of the more expensive models may have a higher clock set out of the box, but these are easily achievable with some basic overclocking. I recommend this card because it's one of the cheaper 4090 options on the market, has some basic RGB settings, and maintains good temperatures with it's cooler design. The 4090 is the best GPU on the market today, so if you're looking for one on the cheaper side, this gets the job done.

Pretty thicc 4090. Never goes above 60C while gaming. Very quiet. Only problem is that this is one of the longest 4090 so you have limited compatiblity with cases - all ITX cases are out of question.

A monster! Handles all games @4K perfectly. I'm playing on a C2 42" and it's perfect. Temps are good, no coil whine either

Overpriced for sure, but runs significantly quieter than 2/3 series RTX and the temp has never gone above 55c running 4k 120hz. Paired with a 42" LG C2 as a monitor is a near perfect gaming experience.

Excellent card! Only gripe I have is that the power connector is positioned in such a way that the weight of the psu cables pulls down on the cards female adaptor which could lead to a disconnection if not supported in its horizontal position. You also have to make sure you really push in the connector with some uncomfortable force to get it locked in. That could just be a card error specific to mine. Other wise this thing is a monster at 2k! Cant wait to try 4k.

I had the 4070 Ti model. Loved the look and the fans were quiet. I saw the 4090 in stock at MSRP. Picked it up right away. I have a LG 48GQ900-B monitor. This is the perfect GPU for my setup. If you can swing it. Totally worth it if you game regularly. Runs quiet and cool. Vertical mount this card if possible. Was meant to be this way.

Literally a monster of a card, I couldn’t recommend enough especially for people who is using it like me for a workstation computer for video editing/streaming/gaming/ and overall content creation. I’m getting over 100 Frames Per Second on all my games. It’s literally amazing.

This Graphics Card has completely blown me away. Gaming at ultra-high resolutions is a dream, and the overclocking capability gives me an edge in every match. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but for the performance and visual fidelity it offers, it's worth every penny. If you're serious about gaming or professional workloads, this card is an absolute must-have.

This is by far the most power hungry card with the best temps. I don't mean to imply that the card itself is hungry, but you can feed it whatever you want and it stays cool calm and collective. I love the fact that's it's overkill because I don't have to worry about anything... I just max out all the settings and just play the dang game. The only issue I had was the support bracket. I just hand to file down the top right corner so it could perfectly fit flush onto my TUF GAMING X570-PLUS motherboard.

I have been using Gigabyte Geforce graphics card since 2080 super, and never failed. I love metal back plate cover whole board, and massive cooling solution with unique RGB light. One thing I don't like is that cooling fan cover is made of just matte black plastic material, and make it looks cheap although it is almost $2000 card.

Amazing card. Worth every dollar. It runs everything at above 100 FPS , at max settings 3440x1440 res. And you get free Alan Wake 2 game with it, which is amazing game and takes full advantage of the 40 generation cards. Runs very quiet 90 % of the time, sometimes there is some coil whine for a few seconds when it cools off and the fans speed increases, but nothing too bad.

The RTX 4090 is an excellent graphics card. Doesn't have any overheating issues after 6 weeks of hard use. It gets amazing framerates in top games and stays cool, no lagging or stuttering. I can also run a lot of higher end AI models without issue, whether they are LLMs or generative models for art. This graphics card is a workhorse. The 24 GB of vram has been great. I can't wait to see the 5000 series cards when they come out.

The card itself is very powerful. However, it was dead on arrival, so I was not able to see that power with my machine. In addition to it not working, I knew well ahead of time you would need different cables for this GPU. Powering RTX 4090's is a massive hurdle, especially if you use the provided power cables. You will be better off doing the following: Buy Corsair 12vhpwr cable. If you have a Corsair PSU like I did, get this cable. It'll make connecting this GPU to your PSU 10x easier. The reason this review is 4 stars is because Best Buy gave me a refund and were very cooperative.

Used mostly for ai/ machine learning. I flipped my pc flat so it doesnt damage the heavy card over time. It does what I want it to for gaming at max settings. I wish games were bug free to not get 1% lag freeze for second but it isnt the card since I get it multiple different computers with different gfx cards. I would recommend having your pc flat using any heavy card as it may chip by the pcie slot.

Worked great till it didn't. Not really Best Buy's fault, but I had to RMA the 4090 and am still waiting to get it back. It hasn't been a obsene amount of time, so I'm not being too negative. However, me having this experience prevented the 5th star.

Excellent card if you can fit it in your case

The card itself is really nice. However, here are three issues that might bite you like it did me: 1) The card specs claim this is 340mm long. This is technically true but you need another 30-35mm if you use the provided support bracket (and this card is way too heavy *not* to) due to how it uses the motherboard's righthand mounting screws. Notably, this will NOT fit in the bequiet 500dx case even though one might assume it does just by looking at the specs (ask me how I found out). 2) The underside of the card has curves all over the place. This makes it difficult to use one of those gpu support sticks that hold up the card from the bottom since those need a flat spot. 3) You need at least 60mm of clearance between the edge of the card and your case panel. Otherwise there will be too much pressure on the connector. Again, this is going to be a very tight fit in a mid tower case like the 500dx. tl;dr great card but get something smaller like the founders edition if you have a mid tower case.
