Great in a basement with a lot of steel

Starting about 8 months ago, all the points randomly dropped internet connection and fell out of mesh. This has drove me crazy. I was on a support call with google for hours for them to tell me its my Fios router. I need to call fios and get my router in bridge mode. After hours on the phone with them and exchange of routers, it was finally in bridge mode but guess what, I still drop connection. Google made some sort of change on their software that made it at very best no longer plug and play and at worst totally useless. Just search internet for google wifi dropping internet. I have too much invested in the ecosytem to change now but if I had to do over I would have went with other brand. Stay away from google/nest wifi.

It won’t connect to the internet and is perfectly out of the return period. Waste of money. I have a expensive paperweight. Tried to factory reset, everything. Nothing works!

Don’t buy refurbished.
