I know they're refurbished but they didn't clean all the previous ear wax or bother to make sure they had all the ear tips in the package. Guess that what you get with Best Buys refurbished

Hands down the best headphones I've ever had. Not just I'm a pixel here. It's a shame they are discontinued.

I was expecting at least a 4-hour battery life but after using them for about a week the right earbud would die in about an hour, and there would be times when they would not connect to my phone or drop the connection. Spend a little extra money to get new ones instead of refurbished ones.

Questioned at first on if I should buy these, but just went ahead and purchased these. I don't regret it! I was concerned if I was going to get a unit that had high battery usage, broken earbuds, scratched, etc., but its in great shape!
If it wasn't missing the initial ear pieces and the box condition (not earbud case, just the Google packaging box), I wouldn't have known these were used. I did get two brand new earpieces included (M and L sizes?). I think at new you get a total of 3 ear pieces sizes, but assuming that these were used, GeekSquad tossed them and put a new ear piece package in.
[HELPFUL TIP]
Here is a tip if you have one earbud draining a lot faster than the other. I thought I had an overused unit, but turns out to be a software problem. I'll pass down what Google support told me, and that's to disconnect (unpair all Bluetooth devices -- if connected to any); hold down the pair button with earbuds in case for 30 seconds until the yellow and orange light go from flashing to a solid pulsing white; then the earbuds reset.
This fixed my issue and now my earbuds last around the time Google claimed (5 hours before needing a charge).
TLDR;
Great buy and saved $70! The actual product itself seems as though mint condition!

I'm normally not shy about purchasing refurbished tech items, but these "like new" Geek Squad refurbished Pixel Buds were a disappointment. I suspect that these were returned by "Matthew," the first purchaser, and sent out to me without anyone at Best Buy doing anything to clean them or check for proper operation.
I know Matthew owned them, because when I paired them to my Android, they showed up as "Matthew's Pixel Buds." They also arrived with Matthew's ear wax caked on both buds. That's the risk of refurbed earbuds, I suppose, but figured someone at Best Buy would at least take an alcohol wipe to them or something. After replacing the tips, I used them for a couple of days. One or both will periodically drop when playing audio and when connected to a phone call. Volume will also just fade down and then back up on one or both on occasion - not a full drop that requires me to put them back in the case and then reinsert into my ears, but enough to be annoying. The range is horrible on them, as well - even with the developer settings on my phone set to the most up-to-date bluetooth setting, I might get 10 feet away from my phone before they start to flake out.
So, in my case, I hope Matthew got a bad pair and I got his return. I'm going to give the Pixel Buds one more try, but I'll be purchasing new. Only wish I hadn't missed the recent sale on new ones while I was figuring out that the refurbs were a lost cause.

The earbuds themselves are fantastic. I'm using primarily with Pixel 4a 5g and iPhone 12. Occasionally I will use with my gaming PC (Intel WiFi6 + BT 5.0). On all devices, connection stability and audio latency is very similar to my AirPods. Sound obviously blows the AirPods out of the water, but I still use the AirPods if I want less isolation from the environment, which is very handy at work. Battery has been around what Google claims: 5 hours on a full charge. The only issue I had was not receiving the medium sized earbuds with the box, though I ordered Comply tips right away so I'm not too bent up about it. Overall I have to say I'm very impressed with Google's improvement from the first generation buds to the second generation. Buy new if you're uncomfortable with certified but other than the missing tips, I haven't had a single issue.

I got these buds in the mail yesterday. First issue is that they came with only 1 pair of silicone tips (they are supposed to come with 3). Second issue is that the sound kept cutting out while my phone was a foot away from me. Third issue is that one bud's battery was draining 15% faster than the other. I called BB to see what they could do. The 3rd party team I spoke with was terrible and offered me no viable solutions. They "transferred" me 3x to a Geek squad representative, but each time I was sent to the wrong department. Finally when I spoke with some one (who still was not Geek Squad BTW), I was voicing my complaint without yelling or swearing and we got "disconnected" and no one returned my call. I have no doubt when the buds are right, they are awesome, but Geek Squad recertified can kick rocks. I have no doubt that they just repackage the items and put it back on the shelf without ever testing them. The item gets returned today and Geek Squad Refurbished gets NO MORE of my business.

These earbuds had a great sound. But they only worked well while I was sitting or doing minimal movement. When I was up and moving around they would cut out and were not usable. My son had the same ones and he has no problems.

I loved the touch features on the buds. I also loved some of the features. But it ends there.... The sound quality was ok. But what killed it for me was the battery life. I would get 1 hr 10 min to 1 hr 30 mins before it started beeping to be charged. That's per earbud, I only use 1 at a time. I didn't care enough to see how many charges I could get out of the case. I ended up returning them because of the horrendous battery life.
* Side note, I bought a $20 pair off Amazon as something to use when I'm charging my "good" earbuds. I get 15 to 16 hours, yes hours, before they need charged. Crazy some elcheapo company can pull that off, but google can't. Super disappointed!

Out of the box the left bud was broken. Wouldn't charge and wouldn't connect. The right was was fine, but nothing from the left bud, even after a factory recent. "Geek Squad Refurbished" doesn't mean anything. These seemed like they were returned because they were defective then they just taped it up and shipped it to me.

I have been using the Pixel Buds for a few weeks now and I love them so far, i've tried the apple airpods pro and the airpods and these Pixel Buds I found to be much more comfortable and they sound just as great for music and for phone calls. Very happy with them. They sync up very good with my Pixel phone.

I'm highly dissapointed in this product. When I opened to product both the buds and ear tips were caked in ear wax. I spent lots of time cleaning them and charging it until I finally went to connect the pixel buds and found out the buds weren't factory reset. They were identified as "jose's pixel buds." I was highly confused about this, but I figured I would just factory reset them myself. Only to find out that when I actually connected my buds to my device the left bud was not connecting at all, and the right ear that was giving me any sound was giving this hissing and buzzing sound when there wasn't anything playing.
I'm really upset because I thought I was getting a good deal, and I wish that I read previous reviews because it seems other people had a similar experiences. I say if you're going to sell a refurbished product, maybe actually refurbish them? Yeah, that would be a good start.

Objective: Finding Airpods like earbuds for Android.
Implementation: The idea, fit and finish looks good. However the quality in execution is far from apple. Pairing to my Pixel 6 pro itself was a pain!
Result: You are better off buying the A series buds or even just the airpods

While I like the design and overall features, they have many issues that include random cut-outs, occasional slightly out of sync sound between left and right buds, and poor battery life (rarely get more than 3 hrs when in use for phone calls or music). These have been updated to the latest firmware from Google, and they still have all of these issues. I definitely cannot recommend these buds.

I told myself not to do it. I did it. I bought them. Right bud didn't connect after several hours of troubleshooting. And firmware update was available but this wouldn't download either. Unless firmware update just released, would of expected Geek Squad team to download it. Disappointing. Savings not worth it.
