This one does not do that and only records when it sees activity, but it's not that reliable. Even when there is activity sometimes it doesn't record, especially at night. I will be looking into a different brand of camera soon.

My son suggested spending the money necessary for a good quality easy to use camera. I did purchase the cord so no need for battery charging. The magnet is extremely strong. The pixel quality is great. It even picked up a cat during the night.

The wireless capability was perfect as i was installing these at a property i am flipping. It gave me the flexibility to post them without having to worry about the cord being cut. Only have had to recharge them once a week so far and that has been a major help.
