The battery when fully charged will last months and it is so easy to set-up. Provides exceptional quality video and history with Nest aware.

I bought this camera a few days ago. I am very disappointed. It is problematic trying to get a live view once battery percentage drops below 70. Also, at night, the video feed is in BLACK AND WHITE, even though there is a bright porch light somefour feet away!!! (What is up with that?) I have a Ring Doorbell located three feeet away; it has no problem providing clear colr video. I am searching for a different camera, as I will probably retun this pathetic device.

Battery life is fine… been using them for weeks and both batteries are still at 70% or better. Video quality and face recognition are excellent.

What your camera picks up depends on your chosen settings. You can customize which events are detected and recorded (people, movement, packages, etc.).
