Excellent Camera
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far so good. I think a this is a good idea for low traffic areas to preserve the battery life. So far after 1 day and not full charging it it only lost 1%. I haven't even begin to set zones. Picture at day or night is amazing.

Otherwise a trash product from Nest. The biggest problem I have is they do not work with the Nest app, where all my other cameras are. Only on Google Home. Problem two which isnt as big a deal just annoying I knew they were battery yes, however I expected the charging cable to be a simple usb perhaps. No, not the case it is a specialty magnetic cable that to get one with any sort of length you have to purchase it separately.

We’re aware that longtime Nest users enjoy viewing their Nest camera feeds from the Nest app, however, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app. Our teams are working on enabling the ability to set up and control older Nest cameras in the Home app so users will have one app to control all of their devices, and we’re working on bringing full functionality to the Google Home app as we want to create an integrated experience with other Nest and smart home devices. While the new Nest cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Google Home app, users with previous versions of Nest cameras can view their camera feeds in the Google Home app alongside the new Nest Doorbell and Nest Cams.

I did purchase an aftermarket security device for my security device, which anchors it to the wall. Otherwise, the software keeps me up to date, and I know how often the dogs are walked in my neighborhood. Neat.

It seems like it doesn't capture people as soon as they get in range of my area. When viewing the history it seems to take forever to view or the viewing stops. They should change on the history that I pick and choose what history I want to delete.

They work well in the begining and as time goes by the video quality goes to crap and the cameras stop connecting altogether. Every update released to the Home app seems to make things worse. If you dont care about security and throwing money away then these are the cameras for you. Worse is that they just jacked up the price to their subscription to habe these garbage cameras running. Worse buy of all hands down.

I would rather do plugins,but if you’re installing it on a tree or Far from and outdoor electric outlet, Thai is the best camera to buy , life battery last for 30 days or more !
