Easy mounting and great video.

Battery life is fine… been using them for weeks and both batteries are still at 70% or better. Video quality and face recognition are excellent.

No color video at night, and "live view" is iffy

I bought this camera a few days ago. I am very disappointed. It is problematic trying to get a live view once battery percentage drops below 70. Also, at night, the video feed is in BLACK AND WHITE, even though there is a bright porch light somefour feet away!!! (What is up with that?) I have a Ring Doorbell located three feeet away; it has no problem providing clear colr video. I am searching for a different camera, as I will probably retun this pathetic device.

The ability to have a battery powered security camera which I can install anywhere is very nice. Some folks have complained about the video resolution but I personally find it adequate. HOWEVER, there are a few limitations that are infuriating. The fact that this is a Google NEST camera but doesn't allow you to use the NEST app is very annoying. Instead, you are forced to use Google's clunky and half-baked "home" app which is slow, buggy, and allows for limited customization. Secondly, there is a subscription fee if you want this camera to be useful at all, which I really wouldn't mind, except that it is shockingly overpriced.
