Unfortunately, they were not great at staying connected to my phone. They dropped out frequently, and their battery life was only about 2-3 hours at best.

Here’s what you can try:
- Checking the placement of your phone, particularly in outdoor scenarios, may affect Bluetooth connection. You can improve the Bluetooth connection by changing the placement of the phone where the phone is held.
- Try reconnecting your A-Series to your source device (phone/laptop/tablet) by turning your Bluetooth off, then turn it back on and reconnect your A-Series.
- Check for possible sources of interference like microwave ovens, wireless speakers, baby monitors, Wi-Fi routers, and other wireless devices.

My ear feels uncomfortable after wearing apple air pods for a few hours but I do not have that issue with wearing these. There are a lot of options for customizing your audio profile in the app to fine tune your music the way you like. Phone calls come in clear and google assistant works great as well.

To improve the sound quality, try gently inserting your earbud with the wingtip or stabilizer arc and tucking it into each ear to provide a better fit. Slightly rotate it back and forth until it comfortably stays in place when you move your head or tap either earbud. -Confirm that your Pixel Buds and charging case are charged.
-Confirm that your source device’s (phone/laptop/tablet) Bluetooth® is on, and that your Pixel Buds are close by and paired with your device.
-On your source device (may be your phone or laptop), turn Bluetooth off, then turn it back on.
-Wait for the Pixel Buds to automatically reconnect with your previously connected source device. This can take several seconds. If necessary, please make sure your source device is connected by selecting "Pixel Buds" from the source device's Bluetooth menu.
-Make sure you have the newest firmware.
