If you haven't tried yet, for noise canceling we recommend that you enable the Adaptive Sound feature on your Pixel Buds A-Series. This will subtly and automatically optimize volume based on the noise level of your environment. To enable Adaptive Sound, simply follow these steps:
- On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to Settings > and then Connected devices > and then Pixel Bud's settings.
- Other Androids: Open your Google Pixel Buds app.
- Tap Sound and then Adaptive Sound.
- Toggle Adaptive Sound.

These play sounds, but you can hear every background noise of anything going on around you. Even at a distance.

I already own Sony WF 1000XM4 earbuds, and so these Pixel Buds are not in the same class. If you don't already have earbuds, I guess they would be sufficiemente, however, personally, I would never go out and just buy them off the shelf.
