Customers highly value the Pixel Buds Pro 2 for their impressive sound quality, comfortable fit, and long battery life. The active noise cancellation and transparency mode are also appreciated features. While the touch controls, volume, and price receive some criticism, the conversation detection feature does not always perform as expected. Overall, the positive aspects of the Pixel Buds Pro 2 appear to outweigh the negative ones for most users.

The earbuds fit perfectly in my ears right out of the box and like all things Google - it's really intuitive to get started.
I've only owned these wireless earbuds and use a Samsung Galaxy S25+ so airpods would be the only ones out of the question. Based on several reviews - these seemed like the best deal for me. That's probably correct after 2 months of use.
Battery life - EXCELLENT! I've only needed to charge them twice! I use them almost exclusively for dog walks, which totals up to perhaps 6-8 hours per week.
Noise Cancellation - EXCELLENT - when using this, the outside world is pretty invisible and I'm only hearing my music.
**however here's my complaint. Because I walk in a busy area sometimes, I prefer to use transparent mode. This works great, but My issue is that it doesn't stay in transparent mode each time I turn on the headphones. I'd like it to remember the last setting.
Mic - GOOD - no complaints about my voice and the quality of my audio on calls from those on the other end, however I haven't found a way to enable the other type of noise cancellation. how can i have the MIC focus only on me and drown out the background noise so the person I'm speaking to doesn't know if I'm walking my dog while on with them? :)
Overall - I'd recommend these, they're comfortable, easy and work great!

Really impressed! The sound is just chef's kiss – so rich and clear. Nose cancelling is great!Super comfy in my ears too, I can wear them for hours. Plus, they just work – seamless with my Pixel phone and switching between devices is a breeze. Battery life is solid. Honestly, they nailed it. Definitely worth the upgrade!
My only issue is the fit with one of my ears. Most likely it is the fault with my own ear, but a bummer none the less.

Pixel Buds Pro 2: A Sound Investment
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 have completely transformed my listening experience. The sound quality is exceptional, with rich bass, clear mids, and crisp highs. The Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is truly impressive, blocking out the world around me and allowing me to fully immerse myself in my music.
The fit is comfortable and secure, even during workouts. The battery life is excellent, lasting well over a day on a single charge. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to anyone looking for a premium wireless earbuds experience.

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 sounds almost as good as an Airpods Pro 2 but are more comfortable. They're also less likely to fall off due to the lighter weight and better fit. Controls are easy to use and work well. ANC is underwhelming for a pro product which isn't necessarily a bad thing if you still want to hear some of your surrounding. Transparency mode hisses a bit too much. Mic is mediocre like most ear buds. Battery life aligns with what's advertised. This is an ok product overall. There are better options at this price range but if you're big on Gemini AI, these are good for you.

I had the first gen earbuds. These are worlds better. The little wing they use to keep the earbuds in your ears really helps. The buds are smaller, they last longer and the ANC works really well. The little speaker on the case is helpful. It's used for charging sounds and it can play a tune if you use "find my device." They sound great and battery life is great. I wear them for hours and hours a day and have yet to see the buds drop below 50% charge.

I’ve been using the Google Pixel Buds Pro for a while now, and they’ve really impressed me. The sound quality is rich and balanced, with a surprisingly deep bass and clear vocals. They’re great for both music and podcasts, and the active noise cancellation does a solid job, especially in noisy environments.
What really stands out is how seamlessly they work with Android — instant pairing, Google Assistant at a tap, and smart features like real-time translation and adaptive sound. The fit is comfortable enough for long hours, and the battery life easily lasts all day (with or without ANC).
They’re not just earbuds — they’re like a mini-smart assistant in your ears. Definitely a solid choice if you're in the Android ecosystem and want premium features without the Apple price tag.

There very comfortable ear buds and the best I've tried as far as it comes too comfortability and sound quality and don't even get me started on the battery. The battery life was amazing

14-month Review

After 14 months with the Pixel Buds Pro 2, I can confidently say they’re a solid pair of earbuds — but not without some caveats. Day-to-day, they’ve held up really well. The sound quality is rich, the noise cancellation is surprisingly effective (even in noisy environments), and battery life has never let me down. I can easily get through a full day with mixed use — workouts, commutes, video calls — and still have juice left.
That said, one issue has stuck with me since day one: fit during workouts. Without wing tips or extra support, the buds tend to loosen or even fall out during high-intensity movement. I’ve tried all the ear tip sizes included, but nothing quite locks them in when I’m running or lifting. For everyday use — walking, commuting, working — they’re excellent. But at the gym? I find myself constantly adjusting them or leaving them in the case altogether.
On the bright side, the case is compact, pairing with my Pixel is instant, and the touch controls work reliably. Plus, they’ve held up physically — no issues with wear and tear after over a year.
If you mostly want premium earbuds for casual listening, work, or travel — these deliver. Just don’t expect them to be your go-to gym partner without some help in the fit department.

Fan of the transparent mode , active noise cancelling works great. Love the design and fit. But might need to adjust the tips depending on your ears. 100% worth if you have the pixel

I have the pixel buds pro and have used them for 2 years. They are great but these are a huge improvement. The sound is great. I use the heavy Bass. They are smaller and with the tips never move and are comfortable. The ANC is also much better. I can block out noise almost completely. These are definitely worth the upgrade.

These are by far the most comfortable earbuds I've ever owned. The noise cancelling is good but not quite on the level of my old Bose quit comfort ultra earbuds. Battery, sound, and fit are all wonderful.

So these are perfect for pixel and an android ecosystem. The AI integration is superb, this is the niche. I know the once we compare them to are Apple or Samsung earbuds, so in terms sound quality and seamless usage they are the same (I've used all of them). The size, fit and design is way better in my opinion. Just check YouTube, compare them with the other buds you're looking at and keep an eye out for the features, specifically AI you're getting with these and decide. I have a pixel 9 pro so it was an easy decision for me.

These definitely sound better than expected. Id say better than the Samsung ones and maybe even apple but it has been a while since I've heard apple airpods. But I had to go back for the Gemini II. Yes way more expensive so may not be worth it for most. But for me, sound comes first. And there is a night and day difference. As for features and battery life, wow! Battery life alone is next to none. I did find that in my ear, I felt a bit a pain after wearing them for over an hour. Eventually my ear seemed to get used to it. Everyone else may not experience this since our ear shapes are different. They are small and not so extrusive like others. So size is perfect. Sound is 8.5 of 10. Wish the volume was a bit louder. Maybe by 2 more clicks. I thought it would be because of the 11mm driver compared to the 10mm for the Gemini II but the Gemini are a bit louder and clearer. Hope this helps!

The Pixel Buds Pro 2 offer an exceptional audio experience, combining impressive sound quality with advanced features. The active noise cancellation effectively blocks out distractions, allowing for an immersive listening experience. The battery life is outstanding, providing hours of use on a single charge, and the quick charge feature is a great addition for on-the-go users.
Comfort is another strong point; they fit securely in the ear without causing fatigue, even during extended wear. The touch controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to manage playback and calls. Additionally, the integration with Google Assistant is seamless, enhancing convenience.
Overall, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are a fantastic choice for anyone looking for premium wireless earbuds that deliver on both performance and comfort. Highly recommended!

I have used these for 4 months and found them to be better than my expectations. The sound is great, with a strong bass and what I found to be overall sound quality close to the Samsung xm4 earbuds. I have had no trouble with them staying in place, but I am not 100% sure they would be able to stay in if you are doing a heavy workout. But if you want a great sounding pair of earbuds that work seamlessly with android, give them a try.

Setup of the device was the easiest of any Bluetooth earbuds I've had, paired with the Google pixel phone I own the recognized them immediately after opening and prompted me to begin setup. The earbuds themselves have an amazing sounds, and the noise cancelling is really effective. Using the earbuds is convenient with the given case which provides battery values and helpful cleaning messages that pop up on the phone, and the earbuds are so intuitive that when you remove a bud from your ear it will automatically pause your media and resume it once you put the bud back in your ear. Would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a premium feeling earbud experience.

Huge quality-of-life improvements

This is a tough one to review. Between my wife and I we have bought 3 pairs of the original Pixel Buds Pro. I bought these shortly after they came out because my wife lost her pair.
Audio quality wise they are a little bit of a improvement over the original Pros, but the value in this iteration is in the quality-of-life improvements. Primarily the Find-My feature in them.
With the original Pros if you lost the case that was that. You had to locate it the old-fashioned way, but with the Pro 2's you can now locate them the same way you would say a Airtag but not as well. They have Ultra-wideband in them so you can see where you last had them on top of having a small built-in speaker in the case. For most people it would not be used a lot but occasionally. For my wife though, she has a large handbag and they can get lost in the void very easily. so the speaker has come in handy way more then anything else.
They also sit in the ear way better this time around. My wife would have to re-seat the original Pros every hour or so, now they are a set and forget fit. Significant improvement in that regard.
The only issue we have had with these is they seem to have a issue when you call a Pro 2 user where the audio will be very quiet on the first call, but if you hang up and call back they connect properly and the microphone is at the proper volume again.
Overall would very much recommend, especially if you are already in the Google ecosystem.

The integration with the pixel phone is fantastic. I like the buds - they sound great and have solid noise canceling. I also like the small shape of the buds. They are not top of the line in anything, but if you want good buds that just work, get these.
