Great pic barely worked

Not ready for prime time

Video and controls were good for an entry level GoPro, but I had 2 major issues. First, sometimes it would say low battery when it had more than 80% charge in the battery. I would either have to keep restarting or plug it into the charger to fix the issue. Second, sometimes it wouldn't even turn on when I pressed the record button. It is currently on Fireware 1.0, so I'd wait till some firmware updates before purchasing this new Hero. I'll be returning mine to Best Buy.

Great for cycling

Over priced, poor support.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The GoPro crew at the local races sold me the expensive $80 remote only to have me find out when I got home it doesn't work with the new Hero 2018, yet it works with all other GoPros ...and they won't take the unit back...I will never buy another GoPro unit again.

Did not work out of the box

Used chat for diagnostics but unable to complete due to...battery not charged so will keep working through. Brand new, did not work, and could not use for adventures I had purchased for. Consider other options.
