For what I need, this camera works perfectly. I wanted a GoPro to be able to capture my experience, such as hiking, scuba diving etc. This camera is perfect for someone who is not doing professional work, but likes to explore. I am more than happy with the GoPro Hero +LCD. I read before I purchased this GoPro, that the LCD Screen shortens the battery life, but I have not had any issues. I used my GoPro a bunch, and only have had to charge it one time.

The camera was very easy to use and worked well when I scuba dived in the Great Barrier Reef down to 60ft. The led screen was very clear and vivid. One button use for recording made it easy to start and stop. I would recommend this camera as a great way to record great videos up to 100+ feet under water. The video is very sharp and clear. Great buy for under 350.00

Easy to use. Great video and photo quality. Waterproof case makes it easy to take every where. Great fun for the kids to use and create memories with.

We purchased the cam for our 12 year grandson. It's pretty easy to use and versital as it can also be used under water. It's small size makes it easy to carry and transport. You have several mounting options that can be purchased to mount the camera on you depending on your intended use (e.g. headband, hand held post, chest clip, etc.). The accessoties were reasonably priced and makes the camera easy to use while freeing up you hands.

I purchased this camera to document processes within our manufacturing plant. Immediately upon using the GoPro, it was easy and intuitive. After getting some good time lapse video and some great action videos, I was really impressed with how easy the editing software was to use. The fact that its free is even better. Highly recommend this version of the camera too because of the LCD and iPhone app that lets you view the camera's view remotely.

I've used my gopro on my stand up paddle board and captured amazing video. I've also used the surfboard attachment to capture video and photos of the SUP yoga class I teach. I also used it to film my 5 year old's dance recital. I wish it had s zoom - but other than that it's great.

A nice little camera for what I am planning.: scuba and snorkeling. I like the LCD back so I can sort of see what I am aiming towards without accidentally cropping something off the edge. I also like WiFi feature as you can sit uptop and extend the camera into the water with a long selfie stick and use your phone to view and control the camera!

Worked perfect for us on vacation, through rivers and pools and beautiful video in all types of areas, except in really dark areas (which is understandable). LCD screen great for getting the position of the camera in the appropriate area. Microphone not the best but no a deal breaker!

I did not realize that this camera did not have a removable battery when I purchased it, so having a spare battery on hand is not an option. That was the only negative since I knew I was buying an entry level GoPro. That said, the battery life hasn't been an issue, but I should also mention that the camera isn't being used to record long videos. Having the LCD screen on the back is a nice feature and was one of the main reasons for going with this particular model. Pictures and video are high quality and more than sufficient for the average person who is just looking for decent picture and video quality. Very happy with the purchase overall and would recommend for those who just want an action cam with an LCD to view their shots and don't need a high end GoPro.

Bought this camera for a vacation and it was perfect! Very user friendly and takes excellent pictures, especially under water ones. Has the option of taking videos then pulling pictures from there which was useful. Overall worth the money.

I bought this camera for a hiking trip I was going on. It works great and we had a great time using it. Unfortunately I haven't used it since. It was an impulse purchase. It's a great camera though, it works well and it's very user friendly. Would recommend to someone with a more active lifestyle.

This camera is great easy to use and had a blast using it underwater and out of water...I like the LCD screen because you can view what you have just done and change make changes right away.

We decided to get this for our trip to Puerto Rico and it worked great! We took it water-skiing, and surfing, we had the waterproof case, and it captured everything really well. We really didn't need all the bells and whistles of the higher model. Overall really great little camera.

My wife purchased this for me as a Christmas gift. I used it so much I upgraded to the Silver. The few downfalls of this camera verses the Silver or Black is the battery life and battery itself. This camera doesn't come with a removable battery, the camera has to be physically plugged in to charge. When the battery only lasts 45min-1.5 hours, its helpful to have a removable battery with multiple replacements. I used this camera for outdoor winter activities - sledding, skiing, etc. and water foul hunting. It was amazing capturing the hunt - as long as the battery lasted. Overall, great camera, looking forward to getting my wife to use one too!

Easy to use camera for beginner. Great quality of recording above and below water. Loved that I could record my son kicking. He has special needs and the only time he can properly bicycle kick his legs is underwater. This is an awesome way to catch this for everyone to see!!

The camera works great and having an LCD is a huge upgrade. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is that the battery didn't last as long as I would have liked.

Love this decive. Got it for my fiancé for his bday! Takes great pics and videos. Very easy to setup and use. Love that it has Bluetooth capability so I can send the videos straight to my phone.

It is a great canera. It isn't the top of the line Go Pro but is a great camera none the less. Only negative is no removable battery. So once it dies you have to quit using it to recharge. But it is worth the money, plus comes with touch lcd screen

I purchased the camera because of its video capability. The wide angle allowed me to photograph landscapes that I couldn't with a camera. The audio is not great but was helpful in identifying and remembering landmarks. The camera also is waterproof and can be used for under water photography. There is no zoom capability which is a limitation. Overall the quality of the video is excellent and served our purpose. The GoPro can be mounted on a helmet, headband, car dash, bike or hand held mount.
