great underwater pictures. Easy to use. Does videos , pics, and reviews.

Have only really used it to take videos of my kids skiing but it worked well for that. Battery lasts all day even with constant use. Takes good video but could use a little better stabilization. Not sure the mounting location is strong enough as my son hit a tree while skiing and broke one of the tabs that the screw goes through to mount to different fixtures.

Got this to take with us snorkeling and other water activities on vacation. It worked great, stayed dry, and is easy to set-up/use. Great alternative to the more expensive models for those not using it everyday

Bought this for the fiance and we have put it to good use. He's captured some time lapse home renovations and we've also taken it snorkeling and sight seeing. The wide angle lens helps capture way more than a normal camera would. We're still learning different functions, etc but it seems simple enough. Wish battery life was longer though

This worked out better then we expected! Even the kids love it!!! They have taken it to capture them swimming, playing and running!! It has worked for everything we've bought it for. Only thing I'd like to change is that if the case got cracked there would be a way to replace it, but there is not. Definitely an awesome purchase!!

I picked up this bad boy on fathers day for myself and it was the best purchase I made all year. The frame rate is unbelievable and the quality is top notch for 1080p. The HD screen makes this go pro experience unique in that you can actually see what you're aiming at. Great value for what you pay for.

My husband and I purchased this for our trip to Cancun a few weeks ago and were able to capture everything! We barely took pictures with our iPhones or Canon Rebel because we were able to record and take pictures with the GoPro.

This is the first time to get a GoPro and this model is great for starters. Not too basic and not too fancy. Even though it does not have all the bells and whistles of the upscale models, this does a great job. The only downside may be limited accessories but even for that you can find good alternatives.

Purchased this to begin with for a trip overseas. Now going to use for recording sermons every week! Looking forward to sharing messages with people online who aren't able to make it to worship. Works well for both of these purposes and will be a great addition to recording family memories.

Purchased this camera ahead of a trip to Costa Rica. Used it helmet mounted zip lining and white water rafting for great action shots. Fishing we captured the action on the deck then underwater when we landed the fish. Easy to use right out if the box and definitely took a beating.

I bought this when it was on sale, and I love it. sure its not UHD resolution but 1080 resolution and underwater filming made the memories of the Bahamas even better, Having trouble getting the cam to pair with my iOS devices though, but i do the editing on my Mac anyway,

Super fun, the LCD screen on the back is nice, but it does drain the battery if you use it all the time. There is a smaller (yet dim... probably to save battery) screen on the front that allows you to see what mode the camera is in. I am a fairly tech savvy person, but this did take me a bit to understand. I had a family member explain it to me. I bet if you asked the best buy staff, they could explain it before you buy it. There are some good tutorial videos online too.

This was my first GoPro camera and I love it! The touch screen LCD panel on the back makes it really easy to use and check what you captured afterwards. You can also use the GoPro app to control the camera with your iPhone using bluetooth, but I found this drains the battery a lot... and that's the only negative aspect I found with this model: the battery is not removable... so you cannot bring another one to replace it when it drains, you can only recharge. This is because the waterproof case is fixed to the camera I guess, so that would be it's strongest suit... to use it in water-related activities.

As a first-time GoProer, I have to say this is one of the best cameras to begin with. If you're trying to decide between having a GoPro with a screen or not having a screen, go with the screen. Makes shooting videos and taking pictures so much more fun!

Easy to use, great photos and videos, very waterproof. Would recommend this for anyone looking for a waterproof camera not wanting to spend $500

Camera and picture is great, love the rear LCD screen for pictures and the large amout of accessories make it an obvious choice for the price however, this model does not plug and play into a smart tv such as the Hero 4 silver and black models due to the lack of a mini HDMI port, Just makes it harder to playback your videos for family and friends to watch.
