I wanted to make my own inexpensive telescoping pole for my GoPro and this kit contained the items that I could use for this project as well as others. I was able to quickly and easily adapt one of the items in this kit to the end of my telescoping pole and used it for my fishing trip last month.

Easy to use, very inexpensive, and a solid mount for anything you want to use it for!

If you want to avoid getting your camera knocked off from the top of your helmet, this is the mount you want to use. It's best to position it so that the camera controls are on the outer side and not inner. It's easy to attach, but once it's attached you can't reposition it. You can tilt and move the camera by the handle, just make sure it's tightened before taking off to ride.

I got this side mount for my motorcycle helmet, and its worked perfectly since i got it, even at high speeds.

Bought this to mount my GoPro on the side of my motorcycle helmet hoping it could handle high speeds. After being told it handles "high speed", I decided to give it a try. I bought this around 2 Months ago, and have not had any problems with it. The tape does not seem to be coming off any time soon, and let's just say it's handled around 150 MPH once or twice.

This piece worked well. The 3M tape holds great, provided you clean the are well. Sticks to the side of my helmet just fine beyond lawful speed limits ;) I wish it had more universal/direction swivel options. Based on the angle of my helmet where the mount was required. I needed the elbow to bend to about 50-55degrees. I couldn't do that with out careful modification with a dremel tool. Otherwise would have been 5 stars

The GoPro side mount, like any mount for that matter, does exactly what it is supposed to do. For my purposes, I have it mounted to the side of a motorcycle helmet. At first I was a little worried the adhesive would wear off and I could lose my camera while going down a road. However, this is not the case as the industrial grade 3M backing almost solidifies and forms a cement like bond to the surface you are using. This mount allows the camera to be mounted either right side up or upside down for any angle you are trying to get. 5/5.

The three way pivot adjustment on the go pro side mount makes it easy to mount the go pro to my helmet so I can get the best shots! Great product!

this is a good product but i fear that there are to many pivot points on it so it could break easily. i have not had a problem with it yet

I bought a cheap one at Frys first. It broke on me. Went to Best Buy and they had a great price and it works great.

very nice to have for fishing and hunting. my son is looking forward to using this side mount this season

its adjustable for great angles. It's solid so you won't have to worry about losing your GoPro.

I keep slapping my go pro to new things. Stable, secure, works as advertised. Be cautious if playing on textured snowboard. Make sure you've got a proper leash.

Bought this kit so I could mount my GoPro to my motorcycle helmet and after a year and a half it still works like a champ. Since I never move the position, I actually went to Home Depot and replaced the normal GoPro adjusters with some black screws which blend in better and able to place the mount slightly off to the side with the arm wrapping over to be in the center over my mouth area.

I needed this for my helmet when I go riding on my sport bike. I didn't want to mount the GoPro to my bike just in case there was something happening around me and I could turn my head to get it in the video. Stays on my helmet well over the 150 mph rated speed for it so it was money well spent!

I try to use only original GoPro brand mounts and accessories. Most reliable and best fit.

This product was very sturdy and easily applicable great for racing, go karting like k1.

Works very well, vibration from race car not a problem. Adjusts easily to many angles.

This is my favorite piece I bought for my go pro. It works great for when I ride and race my dirt bike. I would tell anyone who gets this camera that if ride off road that you need this piece. Worth the money. I also had to switch the parts around but that isn't a problem.

Great addition for your go pro accessories. Pick it up, you'll need it eventually.
