I used this to light my room along the edge of the entire roof in my room (50 ft will be enough for most college bedrooms) and it does it perfectly. It connects quickly and reliably to my app every time, has lots of customizability and has a bunch of cool patterns and effects. On maximum white brightness, it lights up the room decently well on its own. While kind of expensive, what you are paying for is the quality and reliability of its materials, and its ease of use and functionality, and I think that it's worth the price. One downside is that the 3M sticker that spans across the entire light strip is not super easy to remove and reapply, and I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you possibly want some paint in your drywall to peel off. I would recommend sparingly applying individual strips of easy-to-remove scotch tape over it or something if you are planning to move it in the future.

The Govee smart light strips are the best! They are affordable, easy to set up, and have a wonderful application to control and customize your smart lights! My favorite part about these strip lights is the Govee app. It allows you to interact with your lighting and design your own perfect lighting paradise! The customization is great for ranges of complexity, from simple color-changes, to opacity and changing each individual led light on the strip. Govee truly outdid themselves with this product! Get these lights if you’re looking for an affordable and quality product for the living room, bedroom, or basement!

These strip lights are great! They have a simple remote control on the cord that plugs into the wall. ( For those who aren't comfortable downloading apps.). Options to move with sound, cycling thru colors, or solid. With the app, you can control individual sections of the tape lights, and various other controls. A great buy!

The lights are bright. The app works great! I can sync two sets (different sets) for easier functionality when changing scene or colors. The last picture is looking from upstairs down into the basement with only the lights Govee on!

Had a room with dim lighting and these lights made the room so bright and colorful!! My favorite is setting the colors to hot pink, teal, and purple. Easy setup as well, just need wifi and a smartphone.

Good but not great. If you are on a budget i will say these lights are unrivailed for value. Really bright and a lot of options for the money. Plus the app is easy to use and they are gradient which looks pretty cool. However i will say they just dont quite compete with Phillips Hue. They aren't as smooth as HUE. You can see the individual LEDs on certain colors where as the HUE no matter the cooler looks like one clean line. I also am weird and my favorite color to display is soft white. You cant quite get soft white on this. I didn't take that into consideration on my review tho as i know that's probably a just me thing So overall you want good lights for a fair price id recommend. But if you have just a little extra cash go with the Hue strip

The govee led strip is much better than their competition Phillips hue. The all is much better there are more color combinations for half the price you can’t beat that

Easy to unpackage, easy to install, and looks even better when you light it up. The packaging even came with reinforcements to keep the LED lights even more secure. The light the strip itself is already sticky. Going on day 3 with it!

Really easy to use and seemed more durable than other brands. Love the app used them to make a cloud.

Its pretty nice. I like the app its pretty cool, its very bright, then the average $12 led lights, but you can control them from the app. Pretty nice recommend it

Was in the market to replace my old lights and I couldn’t be any more happier with tons of colors n premade settings I couldn’t resist upgrading to blue tooth now I have the ability to set timers n patterns all that power at my hands mhighky recommend it for gaming rooms or to jazz up the bedroom

Got these in like 2018 and even through the years they have been super bright. The software allows for lots of colors and patterns.

Wasn’t sure how these would work when my son wanted them for his room. They are so cool, super easy to put up, and fun to change the colors and designs.

I like the fact that is has dun colors that in pastel shades and the brightness that it provides over all in the space that I have it in. This was a very good purchase and I may purchase more in the future.

We only use Govee at my house. They are under our gaming desks and around our tv. The app is very user friendly and they are super customizable. I will be purchasing nore for my house!

If you want to have a room with led light decoration this is a good option to go for, you can change the color to your preference on my recommendation it looks great.

Only thing i dont like is that you can separate them. I bought 50” long for top and under cabinets which i had to return them and get 2 25” which worked perfect.

Overall great led strips no trouble putting them up. Love the many different features.

The entire govee lineup is absolutely amazing quality is just as good as the Phillips hue I feel like it has more options bottom line superior product cheaper price win win for me
