One of the best car racing movies I have seeing . The title is from a video game but the movie is base on a real car racing driver. Great plot. Keep you in the edge of your seat. You feel the adrenaline of the car racing. Great movie. If you love racing this is your movie

Excellent movie 5 stars in my opinion. Great graphics on the 4k and i soundbar and speakers surrounding you is the best way to watch. I would highly recommend this movie and best buy always takes care of me so id recommend them as the source.

Been a fan of Gran Turismo games and this movie is surprisingly good. Great underdog story.

First off - It's "Based" on a True Story. It is a Good overall movie about a Sim Gamer who went Pro Racer. He's not the only one to do this, but has probably the most notable pro racing career of all Sim-Racers. They missed several opportunities for a deeper dive into the actual story and took liberties with some of the major plot points. That said, A Good movie that even the family, whom know nothing about the story, sat down and enjoyed with popcorn. I was a young adult and newly married with kiddos playing late nights of the first GT back in '97. It took me away from the Tomb Raider and Resident Evil series. I immediately became an addict and had to have every release, and I did, even the PSP version. I went so far as to deconstruct our microwave stand from the kitchen to repurpose as a racing rig in the living room. Fast forward to '13-ish I had the PS3 and GT6 and there was PSN notice of a competition and you had just get the fastest lap time in four rounds to move on to the final round and then to GT Academy, which is what this movie is based upon. Just for a personal note, I finished the top 50 in the first round, and had to try to save my marriage and actually raise my kiddos :-). PSN then had the GT Academy competition available to watch. Not that I had felt like I could've won and been the next pro-racer, but I enjoyed the "reality" competition, and believe it or not, so did the fam. So in short, I know the competition story. Because of racing sims and the late '90's racing GT and F1 series with Michael Schumacher and team Ferrari - I following racing some times and would catch what I could on TV and in magazines. I had read about the sim-racers coming into pro-racing and remember when they were mocked on TV and how their success was understated. So I can recall some of the stories of the sim-racer to pro and how much of leap they made over their competition of racing bread and paid for drivers. Jann's story was a good one when it happened live and I'm glad to see it come to screen. I had hoped that they kept the series of events in proper order, but it makes for a better flow in the movie. They could've went deeper in how the gamer/sim challenges went, but that's what I want. They could've spent more time in the career of Jann too, but again what I want. The family enjoyed watching this movie even with all my feedback/their google fact checking afterwards and would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

This is a very surprisingly amazing movie. I really didn’t know what to expect going in. All I knew was that the previews looked pretty good. So seeing this as an advanced screening and getting surprised by how great this movie is was a real treat. I highly recommend this movie to any and everyone, even if you aren’t a race car fan.

The racing scenes were excellent both visually and in Atmos. The story was formulaic and even though it was a racing movie, things didn’t seem that challenging for the protagonist. Although it’s based on a true story, they seemed to summarize a lot of it down into a film; could’ve been better if it was a series or focused more on one challenge rather than a large section of his story. There are really like, three characters you need to remember because the story moves over such a large space of time. Not quite as good as Ron Howard’s Rush or Ford v Ferrari but nonetheless, a fun movie to watch and probably better than that superhero stuff everyone keeps vomiting out every week.

Great movie. I saw it in theaters and after watching it knew I would buy it. Based on a true story with strong performances from the actors, especially David Harbour. The extras on the blu-ray disc are a little light, but not bad. I've never played the game this film is centered on but you don't need to to understand it.

I was so surprised when I found out the guy that made District 9 and Chappie was making this. I was pleasantly surprised. Good underdog story wish a romantic sub plot as well as a good father son story.

I played every Gran Tursimo game since they came out and i was pumped. Knowing that this was a true story was even more amazing. It was a mix between Top Gun and Days of Thunder. If you are a Gran Turismo fan like me, it a no brainer go get it

One of the best movies I’ve seen in years and I’m old lol. If you’re a fast and furious fan you will also like it. Has all the elements. Love story. Underdog beating the bad guy etc etc

This movie is awesome! Having played the game in the past, i can only imagine what it took to make this movie and the amount of time the people that its based on spent to help make it accurate!

This is a phenomenal title to add to your 4k collection. Picture perfect rendering truly in 4k. Every shot eye popping and the story inspirational. Gran Turismo couldnt get any better.

Watched it several times after buying. It's shot in a way that sense on the track or in the car. Based on a true story. It takes a lot of work to become a race driver.

This movie is so very good. I love to play video games and this just goes to prove it’s not a waste of time. This is definitely worth the time and money.

Veey good movie that also incorporates visuals and sounds from the original ps1 games. Highly recommend to anyone that enjoys car movies.

I saw this movie at the theater and I enjoyed it. From the start to the end of the movie it leaves you at the edge of your seat.

Good quality script puts right in the heart of the action. Well written with character development. Worth a buy.

Extremely easy to order, arrived in excellent condition, and the movie is fantastic, we enjoyed watching it with our grandkids
