I love this game it’s older but if you don’t no how to play gta it’s a great first gta to learn

My son has always wanted GTA-V, I kept saying NO after reading the reviews online, it isn't only a gangster game (beware parents!!) it also has intense xxx contents: not suitable for young kids for both single & multi players. My son was like "I want it, all my friends are playing it...bla" So cut to the chase I got him the old one; GTA-IV. When ppl play the game they don't pay much attention about the storyline & how the character is trying to change his life thru becoming a better person and getting rid of his unpleasant past but they easily capture the criminal/gangster ways of thinking they live & learn thru the game's objectives. Conclussion: GTA-IV has the same violence & kill-to-get-paid gangster lifestyle but at least it doesn't include that intense level of xxx features. So it is a problem solver for the "kids vs gta" problem AND yes, get the platinum hits edition; my son said that this version is giving him more stuff and features than what his friends can get from their regular GTA-V versions...he mentioned: cooler vehicles, more weapons packages & more cool hidden items that you can much easier find with the great help that the printed city map can get you...ENJOY!!

As you would expect from the GTA line of games, there is a plenty of the shoot 'em up, blow it up violence. Decent story line to follow, although, I would say the progression of characters you meet thru time is very strange. It seems like they want to build you up through a hierarchy of criminal activity, but the character bases a lot out of pure vigilantism.

GTA IV is a great, fun entry into the series of GTA. I played this while waiting for GTA V to be release. And thoroughly enjoyed it. The game is pretty cheap now, if you haven't played it. I highly recommend it.

This GTA is by far the best of them all. It has an amazingly fun story, awesome multiplayer, and countless things to do in liberty city.

Haven't had a game console in so long but when we bought one again, this is one the first games I ever played and I had to get it. It has improved so much obviously but great way to get me back into playing video games.

This game is off the chain. Being online even makes it better. For those who don't have it and like to have friend play with you...get this. Especially now since they've update it and added The Heist. Check it out. You won't regret it.

Liberty City, New York. Too cool, play as Russian Niko, and it's set in NYC pretty much. I love the authentic play and setting of all GTA's, this one will never be made again. A true classic. A+

The graphics and game play are awesome. The storyline and missions are essentially the same as the previous versions

Not much to say about GTA IV that others have not said elsewhere. It was a gift for a boy, and he loves it. It is basically 'rated R', or "M" in video ratings, for a reason.

This was a preowned game it played very well and not to mention cheaper then games top and other gaming stores. Very happy

She had played this game at her friends house and had been requesting it ever since... got a great deal @ my local BB!

I love playing GTA, all versions. When you get sick of one, go to the next. Rerun missions and look for different results. They did a nice job on these.

Bought this game for my son. He's really had a good time figuring out all there is to do in the city. This will provide lots of fun for him and his buddies.

It's a good game to play whether you just play the game or want to complete the challenges.
