Poor quality control. Best Buy shipped it to me quick and happy with their service. However product was damaged inside package. It works but not sure how long will it last

Disappointing…this electric weed eater does not hold a charge long. Works strong for about 30-35 mins before needing to be recharged.

Alternatively, additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with all 24V Greenworks batteries. The higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be. Run times varies on load acting against the unit and fluctuates depending on the terrain, grass height, type of grass etc. the runtime you are achieving is consider average. Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with your battery! Here are a few troubleshooting suggestions to check out. 1) When the battery is inserted, the light should begin flashing green to indicate the battery is charging. If this light is not igniting or is flashing red, this may indicate an issue and we would be interested in hearing more about this. If the light simply goes solid red, try removing the battery and unplugging the charger for about 10 minutes and place them both indoors in a room temperature setting, as this might indicate the battery is at the incorrect temperature to be charged. 2) Ensure that the battery has been fully inserted into the charger. Sometimes this requires a firm push into place to make sure that it has been properly seated. 3) Try resetting the charger. To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. If the charger has been plugged in for extended periods of time, this can sometimes cause the charger to malfunction.
