I usually heads over heals happy with the service I get from the Geek Squad. This last time it was a total miss. First they came later then their window and when they got there they said my remote was dead and they couldn't do anything else, but suggested I go to purchase another promote and then hit sync. Well, they only had the remote in stock about 90 minutes away and I drove out to Victorville and purchased the remote and brought it home. To my surprise the new remote did not sync as they had told me too, but I thought let me try the old remote that they said was dead. Guess what?....the remote worked fine. So I drove out and spent time and gas for no reason other than they really didn't try that hard. I was very disappointed this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Just installed so too soon for complete review. So far, so good. Will update if things change. The installers were beyond helpful, considerate, -- did I saw helpful???
Explained things I never knew about the tv, gave advice -- more than helpful. Highly recommend the tv AND the installers.

My technician Lindsey is brilliant. She is suchvan asset to your company. Everything she did was perfect with no hiccups. That's not always been the case. I will request her agsin if I need the Geek Squad.

fast, helpful in every way possible. All questions were answered in a manner even I could understand. They arrived on time and and carried off all the empty boxes! (And there were quite few!). I certainly will look forward to my next purchase and hope it will require the. GEEK GUYS to deliver!
All people who love to watch TV should consider the upgrade to 8K. What with the matching surround sound and the certainty that the surge protector will provide me peace of mind during thunder storms I am set for worry-free entertainment for many years to come!

When you make an appointment with Geek Squad you can't talk to anyone locally, you have to talk to a call center rep who may not understand all the services on offer.
I told the rep I needed my home theater equipment disconnected and packed to go into storage while my home was being remodelled (think: lots of dust.) After getting disconnected twice, I finally got an appointment and a receipt that said: "GSP Re-install: TV/Display 56" or Larger and Components". I called back to make sure they understood what I wanted and they said it was ok.
Employees showed up as scheduled but called en route to ask "What do you want done?". I explained, and explained again when they got to my home. They asked me "Do you have boxes and packing materials?". I assumed that they were the experts and would bring all the right stuff, but they didn't. (This is a pattern with Geek Squad.) So they carefully disconnected the audio equipment and labelled the wires, but left me to pack it up.

Re-install: TV 56" The Geek Squad team checks all the cable connections, such as HDMI, coaxial, or any other ports your TV uses. Ensure they are all in good condition. They installed the stand, make sure the surface is stable and clean.
Once the TV is in place, they reconnect the power cable and any other inputs like cable box and Blu-ray player. They Turn on the TV and go through the setup process, which may include connecting to Wi-Fi, tuning channels, and adjusting display settings. Finally, evaluate all the functions to make sure everything is working correctly. Check the picture and sound quality, and make sure all input devices are functioning properly. Overall, did a great job and cleaned up before they left.

Always buy a geek squad plan for my TV purchases. Geek squad is quick to investigate any issues I’ve had. They are professional and have yet to let me down. Will never buy a tv without it. I hope they always offer it!!!

I had purchased the TV and had it installed on 5/23 by Russell and another person whose name I can't recall. They did a great job installing but right after they left, I had trouble with the universal remote. I remember that Russell didn't want to install the remote extender kit (told me to return it) and just told me to be sure to point the remote up towards the ceiling. It was a nightmare to get the fast forward and rewind to work and even switching stations by entering numbers was not easy. Then the picture on the TV was gone. I had sound but no picture. I called Andrew who was Russell's boss and he tried to help over the phone but nothing worked. I called the Eastgate store and they transferred me to the 800 Geek Squad #. I spoke to two different people and got absolutely no help. Even got cut off from the second call and no one called back even though they had my phone number!! GRRRR! Called Eastgate store again and was told they would put high priority on my situation. Here I am with a week old TV installation and I can get no help. I even bought the warranty though I rarely buy them. I heard nothing for a day so I unplugged the TV and it reset when I plugged it back in. Then I get an email on 5/29/19 with an appointment of 6/9/19!!!! How is that a priority??? Since I had a picture, I just left the appointment although I had a few issues with the TV during the week I was waiting. I was super glad it wasn't a refrigerator that had an issue! Now to the good part of the review and why I gave 5 stars. Carl and Justin had a huge job to remove and reinstall my 85" TV and they got everything working great! Then I had an issue with the remote and called Carl and he helped me over the phone with the problem. Now that is customer service.

Purchased an assortment of home video products, and had them installed by the Geek Squad. What a great experience. Our technicians were on time, friendly and professional. They wore protective covers on their shoes to protect our floors. Set everything up and explained what they were doing throughout the process. Loved how they addressed the wire management. Went through how to work every piece of equipment and the remotes. Would highly recommend using this service. Well worth the price!

The agent put up the tv to the wall and connected like sound bar and Wii fii.they cleaned the room and put all the furniture were there supposed to be.
