The career mode song list is short and it only took about 6 hours to unlock all the songs for quick play. the GHTV is a neat feature but it would be nice if those songs were included in the quick play and not need a credit to play. Con: you have to go through the GHTV tutorial in order to freely travel any menu. I had to exit the game several times just to go back to the main menu just to start career mode again.

I have boys ages 17 and 7 and they enjoy being able to switch to a beginner version which is much easier than the previous Guitar Hero, or go all the way to the advanced version. It would have been nice for the game to have more levels to work through.

The game is pretty fun so far. I've had some issues making the timing/sync work between the song and the screen/button interaction but have it mostly figured out. Unlocking the music isn't terribly difficult. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I like the live video in the background. The new guitar is interesting - it puts a new spin on how to play which I can appreciate. However, I'm just not digging a ton of the songs I've heard so far. If you've looked through the list and like them all then you'd probably 5 star it if you were me, but I'm still getting new songs and I'm not won over on the song list.

The graphics and style of this game are awesome! You look out in the audience and can see people singing along, and there is a lot more interaction with other bandmates. You can choose to play career mode or play on a live streaming channel against other players on XBOX Live. The new guitar button layout is something to get used to, but probably more realistic for those who play the real thing. I'm excited to play on! (Haven't played enough yet to award 5 stars, so this gets 4 for now.)

love it! its definitely harder than the original with various different keys and strokes but totally cool that you can play other players online too!

I have been a guitar hero fan since he beginning and I absolutely love this one.. The graphics and songs are great and it still has cherry pie on it

The set up was a little time consuming but other than that the game is a lot of fun.

Would have been happier if salesperson knew what they were talking about! I purchased after I explained to him what kind of Xbox I had and that it did not say 360, year of mfg etc. Was told that it was a 360. Needless to say after purchasing this and other games, it was the older model and had to go out after Christmas and purchase the Xbox 360! Game is enjoyed by all now!

Nice addition to the guitar hero family . However...don't go into this one thinking just because you were an expert on the others that you will be in this one . Totally different from the others .But in a good way

Holy cow--I thought I was good at the previous version of guitar hero. This one is a whole different level. Harder to play, harder to beat-- a real challenge.

My friend loves this game! She likes the track selection and the user interface but had a little trouble with setup and some memory issues but once she resolved that has had great fun since!

I didn't research this game enough to know that I needed to upgrade to a bigger hard drive. Other than that, it has been a good experience and my son likes the game.

This Game is defiently something anyone who has enjoyed Guitar Hero and Band Hero would love. Playing against others is amazing but there needs to be more options for not playing live than just the 2 venues.

The have really made this game fun to play and easy to learn. Love the Live playing and the way the crowd and band mates get into with you. Just wish they had dual guitars and drums. All in all it is a fun game to play alone or challenge a friend or two.

I'm glad they changed the keys, it makes it both a challenge and enjoyable plus better for ppl that had a hard time reaching that orange key! You can also play and watch your fav music videos at the same time. I love it!

I love guitar hero. This one took some time to learn since they added keys but the graphics are cool. My kids didnt like when they got booed so it's officially moms game.

I bought this game a week ago and it's got all the things I like in guitar hero....great songs and a great interface. If you're a fan of guitar hero get this game.

I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. The guitar controller is awesome and she has fun using it to play the game. The game has great graphics and is super fun to play.

I bought this for my ninebyear old and could not wait to play it with her after so many years of being without a new Guitar Hero. I really wanted to like this, but it seemed like they tried to reinvent the wheel on this one. It seemed like with the new button configuration and way of playing, they just made it over complicated. After only an hour, both of us kind of gave up on it. We will try again later, but I was very disappointed with this one.

This is pretty challenging especially if you are used to the color guitar in previous games. It's a nice change up and the songs are great!
