I am a repeat user for many years now. I have never been disappointed with this tax program. It does cost less than the major competitor. The free Federal E-file works well. State tax module is great too. I generally print out my state tax return and mail it, even though there is an option to pay to e-file the state return. It will import your previous year return as well as import federal to state return. Easy to use and highly recommend.

H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe Federal and State Gets The Job Done Easily. The Software installation went well without any glitches. The Software Update was really fast using high speed internet. Organization of receipts and data entry was easy which made Federal and State Tax Preparation less of a chore. H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe Federal and State is a great value as compared to the competition. I would highly recommend this product.

This is easy to use tax preparation and filing software. And always less expensive than other brands.

H & R Block Tax Software Deluxe is a very easy way to prepare one's taxes. It asks simple questions and guides one through the entire tax preparation process. I have used this software for ten years and it gets better and simpler to use each year. A recent development is the ability to download entire data from a large and growing number of financial, investment, and brokerage firms, including payroll providers, etc. which make entering data much quicker, easier, and more accurate. I highly recommend using this software for tax preparations.

Very easy to use and a little cheaper than Turbo Tax. Could be a little hard to use if your taxes are more complicated than the average person.

Overall this is very good and there is no difference from TurboTax other than the price. I got this for under $30 and the comparable TurboTax product was over $70. It gets 4 stars instead of 5 because all of these products charge you to e-file your state return ($19.95) and there were minor navigation issues within the product. If you are choosing between turbotx and HRBlock, ALWAYS CHOOSE HRBLOCK. You are only paying for the TT name.

I've been using H&R Block Tax Cut for many years. It's quick and easy to use and the price is great.

I used to do my taxes manually and with software to cross check. But it is a time saver. It will not file electronically if you don't have SSN yet (for new comers) but printing it out and mailing it in, on time, solved the problem (and provide the SSN later). Get the software and just submit it or ask for an extension, if info isn't complete yet and time is running out. Of course, pay the estimated tax, in time, if you think you owe.

My family has been using Turbotax for at least the past five years (6 siblings total). Last year I decided to try out H&R block just to give it a shot, thinking back, I cant remember my reasoning but I did. I am very happy I did, I actually prefer the user interface on this software and it just fit my personal preferences in function a little bit better. I was extra happy getting a free best buy gift card at the time of my purchase!

I have used Tax Cut for MANY years with great results. I have even called the IRS with questions and they IRS agent knew the Tax Cut program and led me to the exact areas to resolve the issue. The IRS agent even recommended the Tax Cut program stating it was one of the best products on the market. I did try Turbo tax one year with very UNSUCCESSFUL results. I threw out the product purchased Tax Cut and filed my return with Tax Cut.

The software was simple and easy to install. It will ask for the a code provided in the box. You can then select the one free state program to download. It will then update the software with the latest tax forms and revisions. It will consistently look out for updates as the tax codes and forms are finalized. H&R Block guides you through the whole process from start to finish where you can then e-file your tax return.

I have been buying this program since it was originally called Tax Cut. It is very easy to use and does a good job walking you through. I have tried Turbotax in the past and compared to H&R Block. H&R Block did a better job taking me through all of my requirements. For instance Turbotax did not walk me through if you paid a privilege to work tax in a township. Plus H&R Block supports the product if you need any help.

Great software that is interactive and easy to use. Plus it is a better value that turbo tax.

I thought i would try something different after getting over charged last year at h&r block. Besides trying and failing to import my last year taxes, this program was very easy to use. I still got asked the same question as i would in store. I chose this because i wanted to make sure that i got the most credits and deductions, but even the free software is just as helpful. It just has a few less forms than this one.
