This music book was discounted at half price online. It was a great price for the amount of songs it contained. It is essentially a legit fake book because of the rather large volume of songs contained in it. The tunes are in lead sheet format with guitar chord diagrams and is 182 pages with nearly 100 songs. A few songs have short intros but most are pruned down to the essential elements - I expected this, and this is just fine for these tunes. I play piano and I am accustomed to this format because I interpret them in my own style anyway. I really purchased this book because it contained many of my favorite rock tunes. This is also a great bookshelf reference for all those favorite rock tunes that get stuck playing in your head, but, won't stop until you actually sit down and play them on your instrument. That's got to be worth the price of this book.
