Halloween Kills on 4K is a nice enough addition to the franchise with a great Dolby Atmos audio mix and a sharp, detailed image. The HDR10/Dolby Vision grading perfectly balances the colors and reveals plenty of shadow detail. The film features solid kills and a satisfying ending, making it a great addition to the Halloween franchise. Being said, not the strongest entry by any means.

Regarding the Steelbook, I pre-ordered this the day the film released in theaters. I totally understand all of those frustrated that it's sold out already (I learned my lesson after waiting too long and losing out on the recent The Thing 4K Steelbook), but unfortunately you just have to get used to keeping an eye out for these pre-orders earlier than later. Future tip: do what I did and look for the pre-order the day the film is released in theaters. ANYWAY, the Steelbook is pretty gnarly and creepy, and as an avid Steelbook collector, I'm very happy with it! It did arrive in just a bubble envelope, but luckily was not damaged at all. Best Buy, PLEASE do a Steelbook for Halloween Ends later this year so I can complete my collection! As far as the film itself, it is extremely flawed, but I loved every second of it! It delivered exactly what I wanted, which was watching Michael Myers continue his raging murder spree on his favorite night of the year. Really looking forward to seeing what the extended cut and alternate ending have to offer.

Luckily I got my hands on Halloween Kills Steelbook because I Preordered it before the release date. I get some people would like to get it in store at Best Buy, and they usually be out of stock almost all the time. Because almost everyone will preorder the movie cause it’s an exclusive Steelbook and they are popular which they can be sold out quickly. Like the New Mutants, I didn’t have the chance to get it cause they were sold out on release day quick and I wanted to get it in store, but couldn’t. So it’s much better to preorder movie Steelbook than waiting for it on release dates. The Steelbook is cool, thought it was gonna be smooth like Venom: Let there be Carnage, but it wasn’t. Didn’t like how they package the Steelbook, like they just got a box and put the Steelbook in with some air bag in front of it. And I don’t like at all. But luckily nothing happened to it. The movie was good, but saw the flaws in it with the storyline and some stupid decisions. But overall Halloween Kills does deliver the title. And they go all out with it, which was cool. Loved the artwork inside and out and it’s a decent movie.

I just want to give recognition where it's due... I don't know who got my online order ready, but I appreciate the love they put into their job.... usually when I order movies, or video games the person preparing the order puts the stickers directly on the "slip cover" I seriously appreciate the fact, this person didn't. I assume maybe they are a collector themselves..... but I appreciate the fact, they put the stickers on the plastic film that ends up in the trash, rather then directly on the cover art. That being said, if you've not seen Halloween Kills and are a fan of Halloween. Buy it, it's awesome! I'm happy to finally have this beauty in my collection.

I recieved this item one day late but it was shipped in a box. I know a lot of people couldn't get a copy but at this point they should know they have to pre-order popular releases. For the people that received the item dented, Best Buy should be shipping in a box every time and that sucks. One trick I learned is to order 2 copies then return or sell the one that's in the worst condition. My only issue was my copy came with a very minor spine slash. BEST BUY, TEACH YOUR WAREHOUSE WORKERS HOW TO OPEN A BOX OF MOVIES WITHOUT USING A KNIFE AND DAMAGING INVENTORY! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS STILL HAPPENS! Thank you for listening!

The movie is what it is, people either love it or hate it, & completionists will still get this even if they hated it cause chances are they have all the others in their collection. I got lucky and preordered a steelbook copy in time before it was sold out online, & it arrived safely to my house. Looks great and the features for this release is great!! Happy to have this in my collection, & one of the neater looking steelbooks I have.

i feel bad for the people whose stuff came in banged up, the bubble mailer they sent it in prob wasn't enough for the rough handling their copies went through. Should've used a small cardboard box lined with bubble wrap, or maybe they were just damaged, dented & scuffed when they were put into the packaging? anyways the real ones pre-ordered as soon as they saw it release in theatres, rip to y'all we just built different

I love the slipcover but next time ship me out a better slipcover version one because I see the silver on the right side of my slipcover But above all I am glad to get it on extended cut an alternate ending because the alternate ending is way better than theatrical version

Everyone complaining needs to understand that steelbooks are collector items & we are havinf a hard time with supply issues worldwide right now. I pre-ordered this just a month ago and it came today fine! No dents or scratches. Again, if you REALLY want a steelbook: pre-order! (And don’t wair until last minute!)

The steelbook looks great! Arrived on release day with no damages. I love that it also includes a digital code. A must have for any Halloween fan!

Halloween Kills steelbook looks much better in person. I think it flows nicely with the first installment's original steel and then the Mondo release. Both came mint in cardboard boxes with air pillows...same as Dune.

Great slasher Micheal was fun to watch the kills were good but this is a filler movie to bridge the first and upcoming last film not a lot of story here worth checking out and the steelbook is gorgeous

This thriller will have you on thd edge of you seat. Jamie Lee Curtis acting is outstanding !! The more Halloween movies she makes the scary they get. She kerps it action packed all the way through.

I feel bad for the people who got theirs damaged and I hope they get a new one down the line, but dont listen to most reviewers. This was up for preorder since October and someone said it never was. Great steelbook and great movie!

Got it today I thought I will get it on Jan 25 but instead I got the steelbook today in mail :) it looks good and no dent or damage:)

For those of you that are complaining that you weren’t able to get this steelbook. This steelbook was up for pre-order for the longest time! So if you really wanted this steelbook then you would’ve pre-ordered it.

Seems that a lot of you don’t realize that pre-orders for the steelbook was opened in October. Anyway. I just got mine. Looks great! Just wish that Best Buy would ship these in a box at least.

Love the steelbook the movie in general is good I pre-ordered the 2018 Halloween Steelbook a few years back I plan to preorder Halloween Ends steelbook as well sometime next year

Despite what anyone might say about the movie it is truly amazing. The new Halloween timeline has been nothing but amazing. The art on the steelbook is also a work of art
