Incredible game! Everything I wanted and more! A lot of people say it's a lot like Halo 3 but I think it's so much better!! Must Buy!

Was surprised that this limited edition guide is actually a book. I thought I was getting a guide like all the ret, a magazine type game guide. Theirs great detail, hints, tips, story background(as well as, more info into the game story), graphics/secs n various machines, guns, etc... Also came w/ dry erase maps for multi players to set up plan of attacks if playing w/ friends/team. I bundled this w/ the alo game so I was given a really good discount! I paid less for this limited edition guide than the cost if the basic/normal game guide! What a great deal, especially w/ all the extras it came w/. The only draw back is the weight. Can become somewhat heavy on your lap while trying to play the game & look at the guide. You need an extra table. Other than that, love it!!!

This is one of the best guides I've ever looked at for an FPS game. I usually don't get guides, especially for FPS games, but I'm happy with this purchase. It has practically everything you would ever need to know about Halo 4, and has beautiful artwork on each page. The multiplayer section is excellent, and the tips on weapons caches on the levels helps as well.

You don/t really need a guide for FPS style games but i am a giant Halo fanboy so i had to buy this when it was on sale. It has great value and is a good read. The book looks great with its hardcover and glossy pages.

I can't believe I got this from BBY for $2 after using an expiring, free $5 RZ certificate against the $6.99 sale price. Prima went beyond all expectations for the latest installment of this legendary franchise.

This guide is HUGE! It has lots of great information in it for both single player and multiplayer. Love the artwork on the hard cover as well! It also included some laminate maps of the multiplayer maps (just the one's that came with the game of course, not any DLC maps).

This book was on sale for about $8. Great value for it. The down fall is I have to travel 35 minutes to the nearest Best Buy to get it as there was no shipping.

This guide is large and beautiful. Not necessary to beat the game but any collector should own it. Looks great on my shelf and the DLC was a sweet bonus.

Let me start off buy saying that I'm almost forty years old and an avid gamer. I'm a huge fan of the Halo franchise, from the games and books to the collectibles and art. I've been collecting the game guides more for the background information more then gameplay assistance. When I saw this Halo 4 collectors edition guide, it was a must buy for me. I expected a normal guide with a hard cover and maybe a few pages of additional information, what I found was so much more. The book itself is beautiful. Great artwork, very heavy, and solidly constructed. The guide contains several chapters containing background info on the races, vehicles, locations, and weapons of the Halo universe. The guide then breaks down each level of the game into an easy to follow walk through. There are tips and strategies for every situation in the game including Legendary runs. There are maps with all the weapon, terminal, and enemy locations. The guide however never feels technical. It flows as if you had a pro sitting right next to you. That brings me to my next point. They included additional full page cards giving you MLG gamer tips on all the multiplayer maps! If that's not enough for you, there's loads more! They have full page interviews with the 343 Industries staff that give you a rare inside look into the design process of the games creation. You really get a feel how much the staff at 343 care for the Halo universe. They also include a code for an exclusive avatar shirt in male and female. The biggest addition is a special code that is exclusive to each guide that allows you access to MLG pro tips and strategies online. It isn't a static website either. It is constantly updated with info on the new map packs, new strategies and information you can't get anywhere else. The collectors edition guide code is your only key into this private site. In closing, I only hope that this book will become the standard for guides in the future. It is a true companion on the journey of enjoying your favorite gaming universe. I purchased this book for two reasons. I love ANYTHING Halo and Best Buy had it at 50% off for pre-ordering Halo 4 Limited Edition. The book has helped me tremendously while playing the game on Legendary. It does not give away anything, just provides enough info to help you get the job done. Terminal locations are included and are a welcomed addition IF you want to know their locations. The addition of 9 beautiful multiplayer maps in their own separate laminated sheets is awesome. Included are free codes for the online Prima walkthrough guide and for a couple of avatar items. I would have happily paid full price for this beautiful book, but 50% off was a deal I couldn't pass up. Thanks Prima Books and Best Buy.

this guide is very comprehensive. it has a full walkthrough to even beat the game on legendary with all skulls on. the cover is quite beautiful and just absolutely makes this a wonderful coffee table book. the book also comes with a section that has mlg give you great tips on the multiplayer component of the game. i followed their tips and have a 5 to 1 kill death ratio. i cant believe i got this for 8 dollars! what a steal!

Not much to say about this guide for the plus or minus. There's good descriptions (but not great). There's good screenshots and some nice hints while going through the story. The extras for any MLG player help in multiplayer. I love the cover (matches the feel of the game). Beyond that it's really a collector's item. Go get you some.

This is a great accessory to have when you get in a bind. If you love playing MP, you'll love to study the large detailed maps on cards and plan out your winning strategy. When playing the legendary campaign, this guide will help you get out of that sticky situation.

This product is such a high quality product. The maps and tips have really added to the enjoyment of the game and has helped me finish it as well.
